I guess I'm into computers in a big way, I just love taking them apart and so forth. Anyhow, a friend from my IT class mentioned this site to me: www.cpuid.com Basically, it's a site that allows you to download some freeware onto your computer and this then gives you instant access to the specs of your computer. A dialogue box is displayed and it gives you instant information on your cpu, ram, speed and a bunch of other things. I really like this program and I'm sure that you will too. It's perfectly safe. For those of you that already use it, what do you think? Andrew

I added the site to my favorites. I would love to know about the innerds of the computer, but, I just don't have the patience. If I could be taught privately that would be great, but, who has the money for that? Especially since I'm on Disability......

Thanks for the help. I love remote assistance and I get it from Dell whenever I need their help. Does this site also provide free remote assistance? If they do that would be sooooo awesome!

It's definitely a good site and it gives you all the information about your system specifications. Have you ever heard of remote assistance? Well, this is where you help someone out from anywhere in the world and all you need is an Internet connection. It's perfectly safe. If you would like more information send me a private message. I can then perhaps go into some details with you. Andrew
