We always find ourselves asking the question WHY.. It can be out of curiosity, "why is the sky blue?"; regret, "why did I ever do that?"; sarcasm, "why are you so dumb?"...
What are the usual WHY questions that you ask yourself, other people or your (god)? Can you share it to me, and also if you have found the answer to your question... ^^

lol =D BEcause 'why' is after 'ex'.. It's my present, the things i see, and thus i need to understand more about my present.. lol =D Right??
Jokes aside, i guess it's also due to the curiousity in us that makes us wanna know more, and 'why' is a very much common thing.. Be it in arguements or normal conversations with frenz, we are just curious about things.. In fact, using the word 'why' is also part of being courteous, rather than asking things in a sacarstic way.. lol

Hey babyfuzz! You are so right! Those why questions are always
there all around us! Mine is "Why am I here?" "Why was I born?"
The never ending questions with the neverending lack of answers!
At least I don't know the answers to these questions! Don't you
wonder why we ask these quesions and why we don't really seem
to ever find the answers to them? Are we supposed to go through
our whole lives without the answers to them? Now you see all
I'm doing is asking questions to the questions! So is that what
lifes is nothing but questions without answers! Now look what
I've done!

Hi, opal! yes, I always ask the same questions.. Why am I here? Why did god (if there's such a thing) created me? Why am I like this? I think it's pointless pondering about that. You're just gonna go crazy. haha!
It's a relief that I'm not the only person who thinks about these questions. I thought I was crazy, really... I've read that some things are left unanswered. But it's funny how we ask the silliest questions. ^^v

"WHY" is the word or shortest question we always ask ourselves, others and even God if we are curious, confused and thirsting for knowledge.
This is in a way to "get out of the circle" if we are curious and confused.
The usual "WHY's?" we asked are:
Why did it happen?
Why is it that I am like this?
Why are you like that?
Why is he/she lucky?
Why is it like that?
Why did you do it?
Why did you not do it?
Why am I here?
Why are you there?
Why do I need to suffer?
Why is he/she better than me?
Why God?
Why?
Why?

There are some answers that we will find and there are some thatwe will never get. It's our human nature which makes curious and this curiosity is what has made us evolve. Sometimes though the questions are dumb and silly, but that is what makes life interesting.

Some of these "WHY?" questions can be answered by science/scientists or even the knowledge that we might have. Other things really are imponderables. Part of the reason we ask the "WHY" question is as much curiosity as anything else as we realy do not need to know. We just want to know the answer for some quite inexplicable reasons.
Often when I am away from home truck driving or waiting for the delivery to be unloaded by some surly person who does not want to evenbe at work, let alone work at a decent pace I ask a question. Mostly it is "why am I here putting up with this miserable person who wouldn't work in an iron lung?".
Then as I ponder on the answer which comes to me eventually. I realise that the only answer is "I am here because the bank manager expects me to pay the mortgage on our small organic farm. If I don't do this job then we might not have enough money to meet the mortgage repayments. If that happens, then sooner or later the bank manager will arrange for someone to come in and kick us off so he can sell the farm and get the money back that way."
When I have answered my "WHY" question, that is also about the time that I go and talk to the person unloading the truck and suggest a better way to do the job, so we can both get out of the place. lol

Hi, oldboy!
Why am I late in responding? Because I was busy doing my part time job. Geez! I had a deadline to meet. Anyway, I've read your response 3 days ago. Thanks!
Yeah, boyfriend also ask similar questions day in and day out. "Why do I have to put up with incompetent people?" I'm glad that you have found a way to resolve that impediment of yours. I bet you really are a very understanding, broad-minded, patient person.
Good luck with your mortgage! I'm always amazed by organic farms. I hope you'll upload some pic with you in it. ^^

Hello, babyfuzz.
Using the "why" is common, isn't it? A lot of people will ask why. There are different reasons for why people use them. Usually, it is because there is something they do not understand... They cannot accept something, and then they ask: "Why is it like this?". Why is a powerful word, if used correctly.
In my point of view, the intention of why, when talking to oneself, is not to make the question, but to incentive the questioner to find the solution. Everybody can ask why is the sky blue. But how many start researching about it to find out the truth? That's the meaning of WHY. It should not be used to make the question, but to make you find the answer.
In my opinion, of course.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

Well, i would really like to know why are there some people who suffer in life and some who have no problems at all. Why cant all people just been given a happy life with no problems so that there would be no more crimes anymore and other kinds violence. :)

Hi, jewilim!!
I also ask the same question.. I used to ask that to my dad everyday and not only to him, but also to my sister, brother, mother and everybody close to me. Some say, life wouldn't be interesting at all if there are no hardships in life. It's like saying, success is sweeter when you first tasted failure. ^^
Still, I hate those crimes! I wish they don't exist.. Yet, they're still there. Everyday huge number of people get killed. I hate to see that on TV, but life's like that. Aww.. Why?!!! grrr...

You are right babyfuzz. Most of the time we used the why question. It is even necessary for teachers that if they throw questions to their students, it must start with a why word.
I have also asked why questions. But I want to be funny today so here's the question that I usually ask "Why I am beautiful?"[em]lol[/em] I also found the answer. I am beautiful because God loves me and created me and all of us were created with the same features of God.

Ah the infamous Why questions, aren't they annoying, especially if you or anyone else doesn't know the exact answer to them! I used to ask myself Why I never find love, why love has forgotten me, eluded me, now I have accepted that I will not find true love and I have accepted that, I think we need to accept the questions we cannot answer or achieve in life and move on, we waste too much time on the what if's and the why's of life when we should be concentrating on the things we can achieve and answer.
