Hmm... bananas is a tropical fruit. I am sure it is very expensive, especially during winter.
HOw bout listing some of the seasonal fruits that is available where you are?
Here where I am, there is no season. It is summer all year round!
As such, I neve got much problem getting most of the tropical fruits.

We don't have winter here. But I remember when I was in the United States, I didn't take any fruits throughout the winter. It's the warmest winter within that time, but I still feel cold, because I am originated from tropical country . I like banana also, since childhood. It's so tasty and yes, it's effortless to peel the skin off. Is the banana expensive at your place? It's very cheap over here.

Then it's good for you because you do not need to pay a lot for the banana. Because all this while I thought banana is an imported fruit in your country. The cherries are expensive here too. I forgot to mention that I like to have strawberries during winter too. But, the strawberries are expensive too, because most of them are imported here. But I have enjoyed it a lot with at very low price when I was abroad.

Thanks for another best response given, I think it's the third surprise tonight from you . I actually missed those days when I experience the first winter abroad. I had always wanted to see snow fall. Unfortunately, it was the warmest winter that year in Oregon, and there was only rain fall. I was disappointed, but still I am happy that at least I know it feel to breath in the cold winter air.

Does apple pie count? In the fall and winter I love to eat apple pie. In fact I have to eat cooked apples. Raw apples make my tongue itch. I think it is the chemicals they add to fight insects.

I haven't tried to bake an apple pie but I have baked apple dumplings. They are easy. You take pie crust mix and make the crush and then cut it into 6 circles. You add your apples and cinnamon, and brown sugar and a pat of butter or margarine. You fold the pie crush loosely over the apples and you bake it.You have the taste of apple pie without the hassle of trying to form an apple pie crust.

There's no specific fruit that I want during winter. I like all fruits and pineapple is my favorite. I don't choose any fruit during winter season. I can eat any fruit. It is just depends on the available fruit during the season.

I like fruits, but I eat very few fruits in winter, because it's too cold. Sometimes I like to eat bananas, it's healthy and it needn't wash.

Yes, I like banana too Youless!!
But in winter, I like an Apple the most. Red and green apples, I like it. They are so sweet and whenever you wish you can eat it. Apple fruits are firm and the skin is shiny and smooth, I really like its shape. ome apples are almost perfectly round, while others are more rounded at the top and narrower at the bottom. I like the color of the skin also be it red, green, yellow, or a combination of those colors. The flesh is white or ivory. yummy!!

I eat bananas during the winter months, mainly because they are good for me as energy food when I am training out at the gym! They are great for the carbs and for the potassium they contain alone and I eat at least one banana a day, sometimes more especially if it's a gym day. I also eat apples and satsumas as well which are more of a winter fruit in this country.

Good evening, youless. It is easy to get oranges in my local place right now.And it is cheap. The day when I went to the to buy my digital camera, I bought some kilos of oranges with 0.80 RMB per jin. I bought three jin in total with only 2.5 RMB for it. But the other fruit is no cheap. I like oranges. During the seasons without oranges, I buy oranges to drink. I don't know why I like it so much. I only like sweet ones, not sour ones.

I like to eat banana in any season.
1. Because it is available in all seasons.
2. You do not have the trouble of peeling, removing seeds or cutting it, just unfold the outer skin and banana goes into the mouth.
3. You do not have to grind or munch the fruit much.
