i dont know i never test,just use some simple tweaks and register to http://www.opendns.com 100% your speed will double without broadband, save money too.try now.

wel i am a student and living in a hostel which is WI-FI, so the speed isnt as good as urs but still 128kbps is nice 1

we have comcast high speed internet (cable). you can get very fast speeds...that is when we're not having problems. plus with cable you share your connection with people around your neighborhood.

I also have a 256 kbps internet connection at home. It's not enough though :) I download a lot of things and softwares. My connection is with a limited download size. So I'm thinking of switching to a higher or unlimited download plan with a faster net connection.
