I have received an email from a certain name on behalf of PayPal. The email says that PayPal users need to update their account records before 29 November otherwise their account will be suspended. There is a link in the email that i'm suppose to go to to update my records but it is not working. And all of a sudden i'm finding this email kind of suspicious. Has any other PayPal users here got the same email? If yes where you able to do the update? Thanks in advance for your comments.

Never respond to any message like that,they are scams...if you have any doubt and need to confirm,you can log in directly through the paypal site to check out things(never from the link in the message,as that would probably lead you to a site that looks like that of paypal,but is only there to steal your username and password).

Whatever you do, don't respond to this. I saw a report on television from the BBB about a month ago talking about a paypal phishing scam. I wrote the details about it over at associated content. You can go to http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/240797/cathy_miller and check out the paypal phishing article I wrote and it will give you all the details and how you can tell if an email from any legitimate company has sent you the email or whether it's from someone who is trying to get your information so they can scam you.
