I love the movie The Notebook and I think its one of the best romantic movies out there. It's just so great. My favourite scene is when Allie goes and visits Noah after all those years and they go out on rowing and then it starts to rain and they rush back in and all the passion erupts:) I think its just so great and you see that even after all those years their feelings have never went away.
So what's your favourite scene? Do you like this one too or is another one your absolute favourite?

I agree about that scene. It's just raw emotion and the scene implies that their 'love' was something beyond themselves. I think about the psalmist that describes love as an unquenchable fire! That was that scene. My other favored scene is when Noah pleads with Ally near the movies end, where he scolded her for not being true to herself. "I want all of you all of the time", he gestures in an agressive, but frustrated way with his fist. That was great too.
Ryan Goslin is a gifted actor.

Confession - after I saw the Notebook, I went on a Goslin study and watched all his movies in order. I opted out on the Mickey Mouse club episodes and the Superhero series that he did. I just LOVED Lars. It was such a sweet surprize. I expected it to be a 'B' comedy, but it was really thought provoking.
I enjoyed Stay, Fracture, Half Nelson and the United States of Leland. I watched Remember the Titans over again too. He's in that one as well. Are there others?

No others that I can think of. Remember the Titans is one of my favourite movies of all time. I watch it just about everytime I see it going on the television. I really like Lars as well, it was just so funny; brilliantly so. There should be more movies like that, well maybe if there were people wouldn't appreciate it as much

yeah me too... the love still in their. I really loved the movie. It was the first movie I saw who made me cry a lot. Sounds funny but I cried in front of my friends. Knowing them that I'm a strong girl because no one of them made me cry before. They just laugh out loud in front of me as I was crying. I can't stop the tears falling.
Its a great movie.
