Hii friends do u agree with what i asked Is reading book is liking a friend?
According me i agree with that,And i love that statement.
I have many book friends also in regarding above statement.I also keep my
books tidy so that i never loose them.
so what do u say friends???????

hii,sindhu~! really a pretty discussion u start...yeah, i love reading a book whenever i feels nothing to do .and they are like to be truly good companions for my whole life...i still remember the book "Anderson's Fairy Tales" i read when i was little kid. how wonderful memory i've gained from that book...i believe everyone has reaped benefits of our friends--books...have a nice day:)

When I read a good novel that I'm really enjoying, I don't want to get to the end of the book. When you read you feel that you know the characters. For a while you live their lives with them, are happy for them when things are going well for them in the story and sad when things are not going their way. A good writer draws you into the story and you are supposed to think of the hero or heroine as a friend and care about what happens to them. So yes, I do think that reading a book can be like making a friend.

I read for entertainment or information. A book is print on paper, and I don't see how it can be considered a friend. Friendship is a mutual relationship, and I doubt that your books care about you.

Friendship doesnt mean mutual relationship alwaz I mean here is
by friend we should learn something and we should feel the sense in
them when coming to book reading it is like listening to a heart of
someboday who narrates story as it will make us to to feel and go with
book content.

Absolutely, even book will be your good teacher who will explain to you everything you need know without you need to ask.
Book will accompany you anytime you in need, when you are happy or sad, book will be always ready to cheer you up.
Book, is one of man best friend.

Yes it is, because you can learn somethings new about all the book you read!!
