Have you responded to the same discussion twice without your knowing about it?

Just now I found that I was so silly to have responded to one of my friends' discussions for two times without my knowing about it earlier until it was posted.
But I am happy that I responded to the same discussion from a different angle.
In fact, I have had this happen to me for quite a few times, so it is not the only time that I have made such a silly mistake if it could be called one.

Ah..ha...the absent minded professor speaks thus.........Well I have never so far repeated my discussions so far...This is because I have a good memory, and am very chosy about my discussions, and give responses after much thought.......
And you know something this is the first time I am completing a hat trick in mylot.....,W.J.S.....Because this is the first time I am answering 3 discussions posted by a single person, all in a row......

Hello Rose. I think that I need to be more concentrated so as to improve and strengthen my memory in order to avoid repetition unless I intend to. . I thank you so much for your presence in my three discussions posted last night. By the way, it is rare for me to post discussions like this, one after another in a single day. I was a little bit creative and productive last night. hehehehe. Have a good day, my dear Rose.

Thank you so much for your nice comment. I did not know why I was so productive as to start three discussions in just one evening. It had never happened to me yet as I don't usually find any topic to start with. hehehe. Good day, Rose.

Hi W.J.S.....I dont think you have to worry too much about unintentional repetitions of discussions in mylot..It happens all the time......But I hope you will apply your mind to be creative like you were last night, and post more new discussions in the near future....

Yes, I think I have done it once or twice. It's very normal because we tend to forget about the discussions that we have responded over the years. I usually browse through all the comments before I answer to it. But I could easily missed it especially for the discussions with more than 50 comments. But I don't think it's problem to make more than one response. You can see the different point of view after some time. You will notice how we are improving.

Yeah, the older we get, the more experienced we get. So the second time we respond to the same discussion might be able to get improved in the content with more useful information. Well explained, friend.

Hello cheongyc. It is well said that we will notice how we are improving the same discussion even with a second response of ours to it. Good day, friend.

Hello, williamjisir.
I was afraid of making that. Sometimes, I am about to respond to a discussion and then I start remembering that I have already passed in there. But there are so many responses that it is hard to find your own. lol
What did the user say?
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

Yes, this has happened to me a few times too, without my realization. So, to keep this from happening, I will rate the discussion. So when I am looking for an discussion to post to, once I see that it was rated by me, then I will not respond to it. I then see that I have already made an post to that particular discussion. Sometimes, I can only rate an discussion where I leave no post for it. So, I will go by the title to see if it looks familiar, and if it does then I will not post to it. This is what I do, to stop myself from posting twice to an discussion.

Hello cream. Thank you so much for your comment. But I am used to respond to discussions from my email notification in most cases. I think that I need to delete all of the responses that I have already read or responded to so that I can avoid repeating the same job. Thank you again for the response and take care, my dear friend.

Yes, I see where you are coming from. You know, I never bother to look at what posts that I have responded to from my email notifications. I have about 1,000 of these that may be sitting in my email inbox right at this very moment. I just check my responses from responded to from myLot site.

well i have never responded to the same discussion twice ever....its not like i do too many discussions in a day ....so i kind of know what discussions i have replied to and which discussions i havent replied to..... where as my responses to discussions are not one liners so i read the discussion well and then answer in the most descriptive way that i can so they turn out to be pretty lenghty and thats something that you cant repeat

Hello riyasam. hehehe, yeah, I think so because I always rate positively the responses I have received to my discussions, always a positive rating as a way to show my gratitude to my responders. Happy mylotting, dear friend.

This happened to me a few times. It's quite embarrassing.
As I will rate the responses and discussions positive, so I should know which one I have already responded to it. However, due to a reason I don't know. Sometimes it's not rated. So I will make a mistake and then respond to it again. When I realize it, I feel so sorry to it.
I love China

i have done this before as well... i think i've done a few times actually lol
it's easy to get confused i guess...there is always so many discussions and so many are similar but from different users and we will response back to similar discussions that we have already talked about.. at least i do so i can see why it's easy to make this kind of mistake.

I am not actually sure whether I have or not, I guess someone would have told me if I had so I probably have not! If I am unsure I usually scroll through and just double check to make sure I have not already responded.

i don't believe that I have ever responded to the same discussion twice. I can see how it could be easily done however. There should be a feature in mylot that will not allow you to reply to the same discussion twice. That would make it easier for some of the users who reply to a lot of discussions.

I learned a cool trick for that. I have not responded twice to any discussion since i learned it. When i answer a discussion before i even answer it i rate them. The if I go to a discussion and see its already rated then i know i have already answered that one. Then I can move on to a new one Good luck. Hope that helps.

Hello mssnow. It is really a good way, but my problem is that I usually respond to friends' discussions from my email notifications. If I forget to delete the read or responded discussion, it could happen that I respond to it again unless I still remember I have responded to it. I think that my memory is not so good as before. Thank you for your response, dear friend.

Dear friend,
I hope there few times I had and finally I found it, and moreover I may get more ideas than before to put in. But as you noted I am also happy as I could give a different one prevailing to the mood and thoughts at that time and it surely differs every time.

I can't recall doing this. It is easy for this to happen. If you respond from your email inbox from the notification and then you visit the MyLot site you can get confused and I do both. I have remembered discussion that I have responded to.

Hello Chevee. It is so true, friend. But I have been used to read and respond to discussions from my email notifications, otherwise I will have more and more notifications. Usually I deleted them once I read them, but sometimes when I log out, I forget to delete the last one read, which is the main cause on my side. Good day and thank you for responding to this discussion, my dear friend.

hi, williamjisir
yup i did once. i was really embarrassed about it because the person who responded before my new response was, well, me. i really felt so s+upid then. fortunately, or unfortunately, i was consistent with my answers
i was so embarrassed about it that i do not want to see if the one who started the discussion made a comment about it.
yek.
have a great day!
