When I was a student I use to have both practical classes as well as theory classes. In case of theory classes, it use to be very boring to sit on the same room and listen to classes for hours together. I personally like practical classes very much where you can practically do things by yourself and understand "how this thing come" or "how that thing happen". I feel practical classes are more entertaining and lessons are more understandable. What you feel guys? Which class you like very much?

I prefer practical classes because I learn more from hands-on activities. Chemistry, especially, is one of those courses where practical lessons are way more enthralling than theory. Being able to do it all for yourself, no matter how hard it is, can bring an overwhelming sense of pride. While mistakes will be inevitable at some points, it is in these classes where you learn more from your errors. Answering a question on a piece of paper wrong simply doesn't provide the same incentive to improve as conducting an experiment wrong does. In a nutshell, not only are practical lessons more enjoyable, but, I feel, are more educational.

I would have to say that I like both, I think that both are equally as important as each other! I recently completed a course in IT which I would have to say, the majority of the course was gaining practical experience whereas the rest of the course was based on theory! I purchased this tremendously thick book, over a thousand pages at least, and I kept on reading and re-reading it! I think that both are important as you gain the benefits of both worlds! Practical classes are very good in that you actually see how things work and how things are put together! I hope that I can take some more practical courses in the future! Andrew

Hi there! If i were to choose, i would like it to be both, theory will make you interested to try it on practical, vice versa. But of course it is a case to case basis, if the topic is very theoretic, it would be better to be in pratical. Hope it could help. Have a nice day!

Like several people, I much prefer the practical classes. I feel that I participate a lot more and learn more in the practical classes. Yes, it's true that there are days when I'm not feeling to good, when I'd probably prefer the theory classes. But I prefer the practical classes.

I also like practical classes over theory classes especially the theory classes held afternoon. Sitting at one place and listen the lecture was always very boring. At the same time in practical classes always there was an opportunity to move around and escape from the sleep which usually comes after the lunch.

Hi! For sure, practical classes would be more interesting and easier to learn from. I also liked practical classes, especially when I was in medical school, when we have to actually see a patient and get their history and physical examination. In theory classes, I have to make myself stay awake as there are tons of information, and only a portion of that can actually sink in within a particular time frame. Besides, when a student stays up so late studying, it is difficult to concentrate on the theory classes the following day. Happy myLotting!

i like practical classes very much,in practical classes only we can understand better .in a theory it will be boring and will be feeling sleepy .in a practical u will find more time to chat with your friends.in apracital class we see the things physically and we could easily understand things and things get recorded in the brain.so i always prefer practical classes than attending the theory one.........happy mylotting and have a nice day.

I love practical sessions because that's where we can do the actual learning part. Doing things practically gives us wider knowledge. But sometimes I prefer thory sessions. It when I feel too lazy to walk to my lab and feel like sleeping Cheers

In my country, most classes are theory based. Most of the time, it is boring for us, and sometimes we wonder whether we really understand and remember it until the day we start working. If i have choice, i would rather choose practical class, at least we learn and understand from the what we are doing. Or else, the school can combine the these two classes together, explain the theory first and let the students make it by themselves, and the lecturer can check the progress. What i have seen so far from my fellow friends in the class, they attend nearly every classes, but they don't really understand what the topic is about in the theory class. So, when they get the questions, most of them can't even start answering the questions. This is really bad. I wish there will be practical classes introduced in my college.

I like a balance of both. I think now some of my classes are practical. Most of my university classes this semester have been practical. Physics is very practical, and so is public speaing. Spanish seemed to find that balance between lecture and theory and practical group work. habeebi

I think I would prefer practical classes if give me a chance to choose. When I was a student , the school taught us much theory classes ,but have little chance to practice. after I had a work ,I realized it really a fault thing.

Dear friend, I do like practical class it is really the real side and and experience in that is really valued. Theory class can be done at home too and it not attended in the class also this theory could be done after I reach home by just reading books. But practical one should be there where there is other to show it or do it.

For me both. I like theory classes because it gives you a guide in how to do the practical classes right. You can see options clearly in applying theory to practical. Even it is not in directway but you can hypothetically guess the outcome of the practical application with the help of the theory.

I like practical classes. And i don't like theory classes at all. When i am a student, i often sleep on the theory classes. I am a idiot in theory. LOL. As for me,the practical classes is very interesting and entertaining. I am interested in talk and play with others. The theory classes make me tiresome and downhearted.
