Do you take vitamins for your hair, skin, and nails?

If you take vitamins for your hair skin and nails, which ones worked for you? Did you ever have any side effects from it? What improvement did you see from it? Did anything looked different from the results from it. And what brand did you take?

No, I don't take vitamins specifically for these things. I take a multi-vitamin for my health as I'm not always sure I'm getting a good diet. I'm not too bothered about my hair, skin and nails, but I am about feeling healthy. The range of vitamins I take in my multi-vitamin are probably also good for these things, but I don't really notice any difference in how they look regardless of whether or not I'm taking the vitamins.

They say that it completes what lack that you are not getting from foods. It is like an additional supplement. Some say that it helps so more because of what nutrition that they are not getting..

I take vitamin not for my hair, skin or nails - but it is a combination of B-complex and "C". I take twice a day as per Doctor's advise. I find a huge difference in my energy level if I failed to take the doses. I'll reserve disclosing any brand name as I believe one must consult a doctor before consuming any medicine.

yes-i take biotin. my hair and nails have improved so much,it's not even funny. never had any side effects whatsoever, short of having to shave my legs more often. but the breakage i used to have on my hair is less than half of what it used to be.

Hello, cream97. I do not take any vitamins for anything. In fact, all the vitamins I get are from the fruits that I eat. I don't know if they work for the nails, hair and skin. I just eat fruits. Whatever benefits I gain from it, I'll happy. I don't know what vitamins exactly should be taken for the hair, skin and nails. If I am not mistaken, the skin vitamin can be obtained from the sunlight. Vitamin D, if I'm not mistaken. That's why it is important to take some sun sometimes. Not sure, though. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I used to take vitamins for my health but don't girls have birth control pills that have those hormone enhancers?

Yes, the Birth Control Yasmin, gives great skin to women. That is what they say that they do. It clears up acne too. I have never tried this one. I may have the spelling wrong, but this is the one that gives positive results from taking it.. I don't know about any others. But the Depo Provera breaks a woman skin out very badly. It did to my sister and to others.
