Have you seen the movie "Becoming Jane"? What do you think about it?

"Becoming Jane" is a charming, fascinating biography of Jane Austen. In addition,more depth and highlights that the movie has are from the film actors' superb performance, espically the heroine Anne Hathaway. If you still think Jane Austen is an old-maidish old maid, "Becoming Jane" will completely change what you think. Have you seen it? what do you think of the movie? Do you have a change about Jane Austen?

Hi hxqyj, I don't watched this movie yet. But I love Jane Austen's books. Don't know if the movie tell the truth about her because movies change the reality all the times to make the movie more atractive. But she deserve a movie surely. Have a nice day.

From what I've heard about the movie, you couldn't pay me enough to watch it. For one thing, I think Anne Hathaway is one of the most insipid, talentless people in movies today. The whole thing sounds like someone's idea for making a popular movie -- "Jane Austen is really popular these days, so let's make up stuff about her life, make her more romantic than she was, and people will just eat it up." When I want to learn something about a person's life, I read a good biography. I don't need a fictional version.
