Holy cow! I exptected for them to say it happened somewhere in New York City, or Miami, a very big city. But in Arkansas!? If it could happen there, I guess it can happen anywhere. I'm pretty appalled. I can't believe people could be that stupid and selfish. And I wish the store would have thought about how to keep control of the crowd. It isn't the fault of the store that the people had no sense, but it would have been more responsible if when they saw the crows, they had called for some help.

I agree with all the comments so far. This is crazy. People have to have common sense. If they wait and don't run or stampede, the items are still going to be there 5 minutes later. I went shopping on Black Friday and I waited patiently and got all the items I wanted. This should never have happened.

Hi jakeb...
People just don't think..It's like all their sanity went right out the window when the morning came....
Sad for all the people who were hurt and the pregnant woman that miscarried her baby in that same incident..

SHeesh.
They lotterally broke the door down to get their family or friends some gifts.
Unreal. And yo break/bend the metal frame of the doors barging in before they had the doors all the way open. My wife went out this worning and she can handle shopping crowds but she said she saw so many tents and what not. I hate Black Friday myself. Prayers and wishes to this mans family and loved ones.

What the hell is wrong with people..I heard that on the news while I was in the emergency room tonite..
I did also find out that the woman did not lose her baby...
So that is good, because I'm sure Walmart doesn't want that on their hands as well.
It should be called Nightmare Friday...Stay indoors at all costs..nothing is worth someones life...Ever

That is crazy. Is getting a good deal really worth killing or injuring someone. It is just rediculas that people behave that way and that they forget to be human beings in the face of saving a few bucks. People should never be so careless of other human beings no matter what is being offered up. Yet every year the Friday after Thanksgiving I see it on the news, people pushing and shoving each other over to get in to a store. It's sick.

Hi ladym...
It is awful to think that people get to this stage of insanity...There is nothing that important for them to act the way they do.

I just happened to hear this on the news! WOW! I cannot, for the life of me, understand how people are "dieing to spend their money!" I thought we are all in a recession? I guess I am just crazy & out-of-date...but there is nothing in this world that I can think of I need SO bad that I would subject my "sanity" to that kind of posturing! The sadness of money.....?

I am beginning to think there is something in the "air" all over the World! There is a substantial amount of "crazy" behaviour everywhere! I understand when people in "suppression" camps stampede when food is being offered for survival, but to get killed/or be part & parcel of killing some-one for items to "HAVE"...is beyond me!

It is crazy, There is no reason just greed and to think the people who did this just continued on shopping like nothing happened.

This is SO sad :( It irritates me that some people are SO selfish and just care about themselves and their needs, in this case their need was a good deal. When I go shopping (which is not often), I like to enjoy the shopping experience and not have to worry about if I am going to get trampled over like a herd of elephants. I avoid the stores on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I think for some people it is such an adrenaline rush, so they don't care about anybody else but themselves. My thoughts and condolences go out to this guy's family and friends.

Hi mindym...
It is just unbelievable to think that something is that important to forget who we are and what is going on..
I want to enjoy my shopping too! No crowds...Plenty of time..
