I have started a blog to give advice based on my experience and knowledge in weddings as well as answer questions about weddings. you don't have to be a bride to check it out. Also, you can post questions here and I'll research them and post the answers on the blog for others to see too! Please check it out and let me know what you think!

Your work is wonderful hun. I see that your a photographer as well. Question. How did you get the job as an assistant? Not that I really want to do that but It's something I may look into if my business doesn't take off the ground.
For your photography name I would maybe look up an Italian name or Latin that means amber. Not like your name but as in the fire. I think it could be a neat spin off of your name while making it unique. :) and maybe a catch phrase. ___(Ambrato) photography 'A leading light to your memories.' Something like that. just a thought :) If you'd like I could fiddle around with making a emblem (perhaps a flame with AP in the middle of it)

The girl with the big poofy dress and blonde is one of my best friends and she got married 7-7-07. Well I found out she didn't get any bridal portraits done, so on July 4 I took her to a park downtown and took them myself. Those are from that shoot. Well at her wedding she and I were talking about it and the photographer over heard us and asked if I wanted a job and if she could see the pictures. We had some printed out that were at the reception and she saw them there and I've been working with her ever since. I use her other camera because I can't afford to buy one myself yet, but usually work alone; meaning we both go to 1 wedding, she takes the girls and I take the guys and then we do the ceremony and reception together...
That's awesome! I would love that! I'm going to see what kind of responses I get for the name and then pick something from that and I'll definitely let you know! I'm not good with photoshop or any of those programs. Never really used them. The edits on the those photos on my blog I did on that website www.picnik.com. It's awesome! Thanks so much for your help!
BTW where are you located? We might could get together and do some stuff together photography wise if we are close

I'm in Calgary alberta. Originally from Chatham Ontario. So I do go home from time to time. I'm finally getting a Digital SLR this christmas so if your close by I'd love to look into doing something together. What could possibly do is if the other isn't busy help out at weddings :) Always better to have two photographers instead of one catch every moment. Let me know what you think and or if your even close :) haha
That's really neat how you got the job. Is it your side job or your main job now? I would love to get into something like that as a side job.
I'm in love with photoshop. If you go to my website gallery then go to design you'll see some jewel designs that I did. those are done from scratch all in photoshop. So if you ever need a photo cleaned up or would like to alter it in means that you can't do please don't hesitate to ask as I love doing that sort of thing. I wouldn't call myself a master at it but I do know how to enhance the photo so that you get what you want out of the photo. Let me know and I can do a sample of one of your photos if you want. I wouldn't charge it helps keep me busy :)
