my question is what did you do with left over food? do you cook them again or you just throw it away? i am talking here of foods that are not spoiled. if you recooked it please give us some tips on how to do it?

With Thanksgiving Dinner being yesterday and the fact that I cooked for 30+ people here is what my plans are. Today we are just reheating plates of the same food from yesterday. Tomorrow will be potato soup from the leftover potatoes. THen Sunday will be Turkey Pot Pie using the turkey and veggies left. That should take care of all ofthe leftovers. Then back to normal on Monday. I try to use all of the lftovers that I can. The desserts usually are gone but if not they are thrown out Monday .

i wonder why there are people who really does not eat left over food? what do you think is wrong or unusual with them? i dont think left over food has different taste to the new one?

A friend told me this I like the idea. The good left overs make dinners out of and help the homeless and the scraps take to an animal shelter to help starving animals. This is what Thanksgiving is all about giving and sharing of food.

i do store our left over foods because it is a waste to throw, i put them in glad zip bags or wrap in foil.. it usually lasts though and when we like to eat it we heat i up again by putting it in a microwave or the oven if its the chicken sometimes even the spaghetti...it can always be reheated hehehe its really a waste to throw it..

I usually don't like reusing the food. It shud be prepared fresh and it shud be served hot. My mom knows that.so she never reuses. But then if there' no other choice I can adjust. it's not good for health either. So,my mom prepares limited quantities so that it does not gets wasted most of the times
Cheers

At home, we are all love Chicken or are rather obsessed with it and so happen to cook it almost every week, at least twice. And, it is natural that we left with leftovers and believe me, there are quite a lot of delicious dish you can cook out of leftover chicken; of course not when spoiled.
What I do usually is to browse for some of the leftover chicken recipe and cook it likewise or also, I do my own improvisation on the leftover portion of the dish, coz I believe Chicken tastes better the other day.
You can try some of the Leftover Chicken Recipes here;

I had a friend tell me this and I liked the idea. She said the the good food you could make dinners out of them and give to charity and the scraps you can donate to animals shelters and places for starving animals. I like the idea of being thankful for thanksgiving and helpful to other less fortunate so they can be thankful too.

there is only two of us, so I buy a real small turkey and it may last for two meals, and the rest for sandwiches and maybe soup.

I love leftovers, it's probably my favorite part of Thanksgiving. We had a small turkey last year so I insisted on a big 20lb turkey this year. It's just my husband and myself but we tend to go through leftovers easily, especially turkey this darn good!
For leftovers, I don't tend to do a whole lot. I like making sandwiches out of the turkey, or using it in salads, things like that. Most of all I just find myself munching on it all day, at least it helps me sleep at night, hah!
