PC or Playstation 3?

As you all know Christmas is coming and everybody is waiting their presents. My father told me that I can make a choice between Playstation 3 or a new PC as a Christmas present. I am thinking it every day and I can't choose.I think that both of them have their own, different goods. Can someone help me? Should I choose a Playstation 3 (the limited edition with the 160GB) or a PC of 2000 euros?

It really depends on what it is you'll use the PC for. YOu have a pc now I take it? PS3 has some great games but then again it depends on what your looking for something for entertainment value it would have to be PS3 as it's a kick butt system. A PC would be used for other means like internet etc. Me personally I'd go for the PS3 but that's just me because I like gaming and I think the graphics are amazing. Then again I just bought myself a new PC. But that was for my photography purposes and so it could handle all my designing software etc.

I want a new pc or a Playstation 3 only for entertaining purposes. I already have a good and fast enough PC to surf on the Internet and do my schoolworks but it can't play new games. It also doesn't have a good graphics card and it has a 512 Ram memory. So what do you think

well.. ps3 is cool with all the gaming support and all plus it has blue ray support and all.. but it all depends what you intend to do ... if you are a serious gamer you should get ps3 . if not get yourself a pc that will play most of the games for you and you can do other things as well..

I am a serious gamer, but I also love surfing on the net and I do it every day. So as I said before my PC is slow and i can't surf fast, which is really annoying. My computer is old and I have put it everything that can take. But PS3 has so much different things. So i think I am going to choose PS3, but I need more people to tell their opinions so that I can be sure that I choosed the right thing. So please tell to all your friends to post their opinions.

Tricky decision to make. If it was just consoles then I'd say get the ps3 any time but the choice isn't between consoles. If it's mainly for gaming then get the PS3 as the online access is free and you can take most games online for multiplayer and there is Little Big Planet which is PS3 only. I've only played with it a bit and I'm itching to get online and access the hundreds, if not thousands of levels as well as creating my own and this says a lot as I'm very much a lazy, single player type of gamer, I'm just not interested in online gaming or creating levels I've never done it but Little Big Planet makes me want to now.
