Which do you prefer? A fresh cut Christmas tree of an artificial Christmas tree. I love looking a the artificial Christmas trees, the ones that you can buy already decorated. You just take them out of the box, put them together and instant Christmas tree, life is just to easy these days. That is if you got the money to afford it. Is your Tree Real or artificial?

I have an artificial tree that did come with the lights on it. If I went by my preference I would go with a real tree. I used to always put up a real tree when I was home all of the time. Now with the busy lifestyle we live I am afraid to put up a real one. Artificial is just safer for us. Real trees require a lot of attention and you can't afford to forget to water them or they are a major fire hazard.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't mind a potted pine but those don't do well indoors for very long.

We have a fake tree - that way we can keep it up longer - they are also cheaper in the long run.

We have an artifical one. We've had it for 8 years now. Before that we bought real ones each year. It just got too expensive. I do love the smell of real ones. Maybe we can go back to them one of these days.

Our tree is artificial. We've had it for over 30 years. We keep it in big Rubbermaid boxes. Every year we think about getting a new one and then change our minds. One of these days we will get one lol.

Real just looks better, and it has a nice smell to it. On the other hand fake you don't have to try to squeeze through your front door, or struggle to get it to stand up, and there's also the matter of thousands of tiny needles all over your floor, that stick in your feet, and don't ever go away.

There are alot of benefits from having a fresh tree for Christmas tree one is you will be able to save a huge amount of money and the scent coming from the fresh Christmas tree is very relaxing and will give you an instant Christmas feeling. But as much as I would like to have a fresh Christmas tree in our home, I'm afraid that it is not possible to have it here in my country. Unlike in other countries where fresh trees are available anywhere here in my country it is not the case, so we have to settle with the artificial Christmas tree instead which is really costly.

You can find some beautiful artificial trees, they just cost so much.

Well, artificial trees are much more convenient and easier to set up. That being said, I would probably never put one up if I had the space for a real tree. I guess it's probably because in my family we have always had a real pine tree, and the look, feel, and smell of it are part of the tradition of Christmas to me. I think that this, for me, would be worth the extra work of buying the new tree, hauling it inside, and spending an hour or so trying to get it to stand upright properly. Not sure if it's worth it when it falls over again :).

I prefer having a real Christmas tree, even though I know it's not always easy to set up or anything. We've always had a real Christmas tree around my house, which is probably why have a preference for the real ones. What can I say? I love nature.

unreal as it suits our family well and causes no mess. We have had a real tree a couple of christmas, it was nice but did cause a lot of mess. We wil have a real tree again, but not this year. Last year we had an unreal one indoors and a real one just outside the playroom window and put lights on it so the children could see it.

However thats yet to happen so maybe sometime in the future my wishes can come true. Actually i'm totally determined to have one sometime in the future...real Christmas tree here i come

I like the artificial trees because it is handy and is reusable, however if only we had space to for an natural tree, then we would probably consider using a actual tree.

I don't like the idea of killing a tree but a fresh cut pine tree would help the indoor environment so I'd go with real tree.
