When I was growing up, my mother always bought white bread. I ate it because that is what we had. We I got older, I started eating wheat, then whole grain breads. I like the wheat and whole grain much better and it is better for you.

I really don't like any other bread aside from white bread. Occasionally I will eat other bread but it has to be prepared well so I can't really taste the bread itself. I'm not sure why I don't like other breads but I just do not.

I can't stand white bread. It's gummy and sticks to the roof of my mouth worse than peanut butter! I grew up eating my mother's homemade bread. It was a coarse bread because that's the way my Dad liked it. When we moved off the farm and to a different climate it was not feasible to make bread for a whole week like she used to so my Mother stopped making bread and bought whole wheat bread instead.

I alternate between white, wheat and whole grain...mostly because I get bored with plain bread and also because my husband won't eat healthy for too long without complaining. Since he's gotten older and has developed some digestive problems I have been able to get him to eat some foods he normally wouldn't but I know when to stop pushing and to return to old habits.

I do not eat much in the way of any bread, I get plenty of fiber from Veggies and nuts ( more in fact). But when I do eat any bread it has to be whole grain. I can not remember the last time I had white bread.

Yeah I eat whatever my house has. I don't care about wheat, white, or multigrain because bread is bread to me.
