All of the major department stores have online shopping...also stores like Best Buy and Circuit City, which have some fairly good deals going on right now. Walmart, Kmart and Target also have nice sites and I do like Overstock.com. I've been doing most of my shopping online for a couple of years now and have had very little problems with them. When I have encountered a problem, the store has always corrected it nicely.

-For international inline shoppers a good site to know about is http://www.BongoUS.com
They set you up with a US Street Address so you can order from any US Websites. Makes shopping much more convenient, and there's a lot of great deals out there if you do your research. Even with the shipping added on, money can be saved. Plus many US Beauty Products, Electronics, what-have-you are not available in other countries.
Hope this helps :)

Yes friend i have heard a lot of people do online shopping and its become very famous. But the main thing is how much we trust them in buying those products. We won't know whether its the new product/the stock one. If i would have known the site upon which we can rely i would have surely told you. do you believe in online shopping friend. Here in India timesofindia.com and homeshop18.com is famous.

If you do like to buy online, a good service to know about is http://www.BongoUS.com
Bongo provides international shoppers with a US Mailbox, so you can shop online and get your goods delivered overseas without a hassle. Many beauty products, electronics, etc are simply unavailable or more expensive in other countries. You can look at estimated rates and country info here:

I've shopped on Amazon a lot, and have always found them to be really good. The items are always shipped quickly, and I've had no problems with them at all. They have an absolutely massive array of stock as well, it's not just books anymore.
I buy a lot on eBay as well, and would always recommend using a Paypal account backed by a credit card. There are some bad sellers on there, but it's usually obvious from either the items they're selling (if it looks too good to be true, it is) or the comments on their feedback. If you use a credit card however, you have a lot more power to get your money back should you need to. Don't just depend on Paypal to retrieve funds for you.
If you're in the UK, I would also highly recommend Firebox. They sell loads of innovative gadgets and clever gift ideas.

I highly recommend Amazon.com. They have great prices, they usually beat the competition. They have sales on frequently too, so the prices sometimes get even better. Many products have amazon coupon codes for further discounts. Free shipping on orders over $25 for items sold directly by Amazon.com (including computers parts) and even for some third party sellers who stock their products in Amazon warehouses. The items shipped by Amazon are well packaged and even the free super-saver shipping is quite fast. Amazon has an extensive collection of products and brands offered, far better than other stores online or not. The customer reviews on all sorts of products are incredibly helpful. I make purchases through Amazon.com frequently and I haven't had a problem yet. Good luck.

I usually shop at overstock.com because of the price of some items. Although you have to make sure that you read the description of each item that you are going to buy. Also I had one bad experience with them wit regard to the time of delivery. Other than that, this site is true to its word.
There are times that I bid/shop at ebay. Not recommended though if you have to have the item, pronto. Though there are items there that could be bought at once if they have the "Buy it now" price.
Other than those two sites, I go directly to the websites of the brands that I want to buy items from.

It depends on what you are shopping for. Amazon.com offers free shipping on orders over $25 but only on qualified products, which for the most part are only new books, music, movies. Used books, music or movies, household products, artwork, car accessories....pretty much anything that comes from a third-party vendor doesn't qualify for free shipping because the third-party vendor has to ship the item instead of it being shipped directly from Amazon. And sometimes the shipping from the third-party sites can be astronomical.
Overstock.com also offers free shipping on orders over a certain amount but I don't shop there very often so I'm not sure exactly what that amount is....$50 stands out in my mind but I'm not sure. Both sites are pretty speedy too, as long as they have what you are ordering in stock.
I never really got into the eBay craze. I've looked on there for a few hard to find items or (for example) my ex-idiot was a huge Neil Gaiman/Sandman fan so I looked on there to find him a Sandman t-shirt because they don't make them anymore. But mostly I avoid it.
DaisyMaze.com is a good site for teen/juniors girls' clothes. They are all really cheap but super cute. For example, Vigoss brand jeans that sell in JC Penney for $35 or 40 are on there for $20. I've bought a lot of stuff from there and really like them.

It depends on why you are skeptical about shopping online. If it is because you are afraid of being scammed I would stick with reliable sites such as wal mart, k mart, best buy, circuit city, and barnes and nobles etc. and stay away from EBAY. (which is scam central)

Hi ya apples99
I would totally recommend play.com as not only do they sell dvd's and cd's they also sell gadgets, consoles, gig tickets and all sorts. I am not sure how much they charge to deliver to the US but it is free for the UK. They are cheaper than the stores too.

I prefer amazon but I'm always one to search around. I make sure I check every site that I can (well, not obscure sites, but things like circuit city, walmart, best buy, etc). But, I try to shop from amazon the most, I haven't had many bad experiences there at all.

Oh, the joy of online shopping! My favorite online stores are Old Navy, Amazon, Ebay, Babies R Us and Macy's. I shopped at victoria's secret once and I won't do it again. The orders take too long to arrive and the shipping is insane. I also think that Overstock.com is way overpriced.

Ebay is the cheapest and it accepts paypal, so you can spend your mylot earnings! But if you want to get designer items I'd go for net-a-porter.com as alot of designer items on ebay are not genuine. I have picked up a few things that are, but things like genuine Juicy Couture handbags and Ugg boots are almost impossible to find.
Happy mylotting :)

I have never used any of the sites that you mentioned. My future mother-in-law uses Amazon and swears by it. I personally only use Walmart.com.

Hi apples99,
For online shopping, I usually go to www.overstock.com , www.amazon.com or www.ebay.com . I usually access my shopping through www.igive.com so that it benefits my favorite charities but they have more vendors to choose from than the ones I just mentioned.
Happy MyLotting!

Another good site to be aware of is http://www.BongoUS.com
They set you up with a personal US Street Address, not a PO Box, to send your US purchases to. Most US retailers still do not ship outside the States unfortunately. Many items are only available in the US or are much cheaper there. You can save $ even with international shipping added on, especially if you consolidate a few things into one shipment, like Christmas gifts, etc.
