do you cook your own meals? if so why?
was there a need to learn how to cook?
i was supposed to go away from home for a job and i had to learn cooking because the outside food is expensive and sometimes unhealthy.
is that why you learned cooking?
is cooking your hobby? you have servants or cooks but you also cook ?
when did you first cook? was it moment the you like or dislike?
give you views about cooking...

Hello peterbarretto08..
Yup.. I cook my own meal because I hate to get out just to buy my meals and I hesitate with the cleanness.. I think I need to learn cook because one day I need to feed my husband and kids.. This is the best way to attract them to stay at home.. my mom always says that..
Actually I really love cook or I can say its one of my hobby.. I always try new recipe that I found or take from my friends.. Everyday I will prepare our breakfast.. I think my mom has no need to pay maid to work at our home for cooking because they already have me.. I want to prove to my mom that I really can be a professional Chef one day.. That is my ambition.. Having my own recipe book and people around the world know about me..
I start cooking when I was in standard 4.. I always help my mother when she in the kitchen.. I love when she move here and there, take this and that.. I also love bake.. But I hate at moment I need to "HOUSE KEEPING".. Arggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Whatever it is I love cooking...

that is one of the reasons why young boys and men tend to learn how to cook.

I'm not fortunate enough to have someone else who will cook for me all the time so I have to cook. I used to enjoy it a little but have gotten to the point where I actually dread cooking everyday. It seems as though I am cooking the same things all of the time and I am searching out new recipes. But my family doesn't usually like anything new.

I cook for myself because I dont want to have to always depend on others to cook me food. I took 3 years of cooking class in high school so i basically got it down. I also want to know how to cook because I enjoy it.

I like cooking, and i have been learning cooking for years. When i was fifteen years old or so, i started to learn to cook. For my family, and for myself. I still remembered the first time i cooked for my family, I put much salt onto the meal which goes a little embarrassed. However, my family didn't show unhappy for that, instead, they praised me that I had the courage to do such work for the first time, which made me very proud that time. Now , i can cook for myself, if possible, i rather cook at home than go out for meal. Because , as for me, i think cooking has a great advantage . First, you can eat what you want to eat, you can cook for your own cuisine, a little more salt or sugar, depends on yourself, which is quite good.
Second, you can prevent you from the unhealthy or unhealthful food, which is bad for your health. And the last is that, when cooking, you can 100% concentrate yourself in it, and enjoy the process, at last enjoy the meal you cook yourself, which can efficiently reduce your pressure from the busy daily work.
So, that is my point, did i do a good job?

I started helping cook meals for my family around 12 years old. I do cook for myself and my family. But I don't always have to. My hubby and I share that responsibility. I think he enjoys it more than I do.

Hi! Yes, I have tried cooking and I am trying my best to practice more and more. Before, I was so afraid to cook not only because I was afraid of the hot cooking oil but also because I had a fear that the people who will eat the dish that I made will not like it. So far, my family, friends and boyfriend liked my cooking, although I cook only a few times in a month. I actually want to study culinary arts. I hope that after the current course that I am taking, I will be able to study cooking and baking as well.

yes peter I have cooked my meals so many times and its the same reason as you mentioned ,I started cooking from my student life , yeah since in our area its not seems as a hard work , when I was student and the unversity where i was studied I lived nearby that and so many students were aslo lived with there room met and all they cooked their food by their own and with the help of them I have also learned cooking but Cooking is not my hobby ,
I just do it when it requires and after getting job its little bit hard to cook and since its a big city of india so there are lots of resaurant which available for daily foods and yeah now I have enough money also for paying for good food now ,but still I have mantained cooking system and whenever its required then we means our roomates togehter cooked food and its occasionally holiday means sunday but we still take our break fast in home only for that we use milk and bread and eggs like stuff for our daily break fast which we maintain at our room only ,
btw its really very nice to sharing about our cooking experience with you , happy mylotting :-)
