Grrr..this is one of the hardest question I have encountered today. I love both of these authors. I bought all books of John Grisham...I mean ALL of it ! I only have three books of Dan Brown, The Da Vince Code, Angels and Demons and Deception. But then lately, I found John Grisham books not so intertaining anymore and wondering why he wrote that. Playing for Pizza for example, I still don't get it. But still love him for his creativity, well researched, detailed, informative and so on...Tough choice, but I would go for J Grisham.
But hey, you have not said which one is your choice ? Nice to know that some people here do love these authors. Goodluck.

Hi, I have read both their books, and I find them equally difficult to read - lots of technical or legal stuff! Grisham is mainly about legal and courtroom stuff; however Brown moves around physics, IT and religious matters. Though interesting enough, they are not among my favorites!

Hi, soshono1925. Welcome to myLot.
I have enjoyed reading both of these authors. I find them very different so my preference would be dependent on what I was interested in at the time. I find that D. Brown says more with fewer words and I often admire that in an author. But J. Grisham's books have been more gripping to me because I enjoy his details.
