Tonight I watched a new episode of Monk called Mr Monk and the Miracle. This is the Christmas episode and a reminder that you should not give up. You can see in the episode that the end is near. We know its next season and wonder if this episode is a clue to the future of the show.
I liked the episode and if you missed it, then you can see it Saturday on USA Network at 1:30pm or midnight.
There will be more new episodes starting January 9th, 2009.

I saw it too - would not miss a monk episode LOL. It was a nice one and yes I would say that it is giving out some clues as to where the show is headed.
I thought that must have been a particularly difficult episode for monk with the homeless guys and all heheheheheh

The actor suffers from many of the problems that the character faces. I think he really shows us how hard it can be in every day life. This is one of the shows I'll miss after next season. Thanks for the reply.

The attractive for me is to see the cases and how he can solve them many times in a way that is a little different. I enjoy being able to view a show that any age can watch. Each of the characters has experienced situations that I can relate to them or know somebody going through the same thing. Thanks for the reply both of you.

Hi! Monk is the cutest! I have been so busy with deadlines at work, so I am not sure if I am updated with the newest episodes. Is the latest episode (the one you're referring to) the one with the fountain that cures all illness? That could be it, right? The scenes with the homeless, particularly when they were having dinner together was so hilarious! I love the final parts of that episode. I will make it a point this time that I get my updated dose of Monk.
Happy myLotting!

Hi! I love Monk!^_^ Well I havent been able to really follow the series. I just watch whenever I can. Im going to watch out for this episode you mentioned. Then again, I think that our local networks are one season behind most US shows so I probably see it when I see it. Im really curious as to how the series would end. How he'd solve the case on Trudy and if he'd ever find resolution to his general restlessness.^_^

I know not everyone is watching the same season. I tried not to give away to much information; however, want people to not skip the episode. I believe there was an important clue to understand what will happen on the show in the future. Thanks for the reply.

I wasn't a big fan of this episode. It was pretty obvious the fountain was related to the homeless guy's murder (since it was the central theme of the plot); which made it some sort of a hoax. And, it was kind of sad that Monk didn't even solve the case. He had the pharmacist's girlfriend tell him everything.

I have never seen an entire episode of Monk, but when I saw the commerical for the episode you mentioned, I wanted to see it. The part where he was showing off his cardboard Christmas tree was hilarious. I know he is supposed to be OCD, but that was just too funny.

We are crazy for Monk. I think it is the best series to come out of television in decades. We do not need the RAUNCHYness that sitcoms are wont to throw at us.,,, and the popularity of Monk proves it.
We do not have television but rent the series on dvd from netflix. I think we are on season 4 right now. I will be sad to see this one end. It is good/clean(hehe) entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.

Its the holiday lag. I have noticed USA likes to run Monk early and then run it quite a few times during the holidays. This is great for me, as I have every episode at least 2 times. Thanks for the reply.
