i was riding a jeepney towards the city and i was kinda disappointed that the driver still haven't honored the 50 cent decrease in fare rates.he said that he doesn't have any change to give me.i was saddened about this that despite the consecutive rollbacks of the oil price, the fare rates still haven't gone down further.i can only hope that jeepney operators and owners will be sensitive also to the complaints of the passengers because we,in one way or another, are the reasons why they still have food to bring to their tables.and it's also christmas,i guess that could also be a reason.

I'm quite disappointed too! They're the ones to complain first when gas prices go up and they even represent the masses but now that gas prices went low, they're the last ones to decrease fare. I mean they're such double standards. Now they're taking advantage of this. As if we, the commuters aren't as poor as them. We need money too! I think they should learn to cooperate too because in the end, it'll still be us who'll benefit from this and that includes the drivers' family.

i certainly agree with you.these times are hard times and we need the money no matter how little its value may be.the government needs to work on this and raise their assertiveness for the welfare of the majority. thanks for sharing! happy mylotting!

Yups, but the problems itself starts from the government. Sure they reprimand these big 3 in the gas industry but they are not imposing any regulations against them because they simply don't have teeth to do so. So these players still manages to keep their prices up urging these drivers to keep their fare rates too. So the real victim s are the Filipinos ourselves.

i would like to appeal to the drivers please give the 5o cents fare rate roll back to us because it will be so unfair if you receive the oil price roll back that you been asking then you would not give us what is due to us. let's all be considerate with each other. after all it's christimas time why not give love on christmas day, start with the 50 cents roll back. lol
