We have lost the real meaning of life.

I was chatting with a friend of mine yesterday, and he asked me the meaning of my life. At first i laughed at the question, calling it silly. When i went home and internalized the question, it struck me to be very important. How many of us ever think of the meaning of their lives. Humanity has lost the essence of life that now instead of fighting for happiness, we look for pleasure, even at the expense of other human beings. If i was to ask this question to you, would you find an answer to it? What is the meaning of life?

Life is the divine expression of Almighty God-the eternal source of all that exists in the universe. Individual life is just as a wave in the vast ocean of divine consciousness. Life is absolute in divine consciousness and relative in the the gross physical plane. Different life forms and phenomena are the physical manifestation of the supreme, unmanifested and immortal Being-the ultimate essence and basis of all creation. All diverse forms and phenomena in creation differ in their qualities. They are created, continue for a finite period and finally get dissolved in their original source-the Absolute Being. Thanks.
