When will you salute our National Flag..??

I used to salute our national Flag, defenately Twice in a year, one is on 26th January and another one is 15th Auguest..
(26th January is our Repebulic Day and also 15th August is our Independence Day)
In the above both of the days, in our school, the flag will be hoisting by our Secretary and we used to salute the flag, and also in our flat also, the flag was hoisted, and we will salute the falg, when it is moving here and there form the piller..
Then the Sweets will be distributed to all, both at our school/Colleges and also in our flat..

just make it thrice a year. i am adding today 29-11-2008 because, it is something more than independence day or republic day. from 26-11-2008, our nsg's, ats's our army, policemen have spent their life for saving our nation against those ill-tempered terrorists... moreover we must pay a tribute to those who have sacrificed their life for our nation... dont forget this day...ever in your life... i love india... mera bharat mahaan...

It is same for me. I am also from india and on those 15th August and 26th january, we used to hoist National flag. But now on recent development, I felt like standing and paying my homage to those brave soldiers and heroes who has laid down theri life to save people.

Our flag is hoisted during Flag Ceremony which is usually on Mondays in government offices and schools. During celebrations too we sing our national anthem as the flag is raised. Cheers!!

Yes! I had saluted our Indian flag on the dates specified by you.To add,we had our flag hoisted on every fridays when we had group prayers at school.After those school days,I had no chance to be there,where our flag is hoisted.Sure,if I happen to be at a place where it is hoisted,then definitely,I will be saluting as a PROUD INDIAN!
