What would you do without the Internet?

Hypothetical situation. =P
How would your life change if the Internet simply ceased to exist one day? What would you miss, and what would you lose? Or would its loss not have a big effect on you? If you're on the Internet most of the day, what would you do instead?
I think that my life would drastically change without the Internet. The loss of communication with my friends would be what would affect me most, as my friend and I find it more convenient to organize when we're going to meet instead of talking on the phone. I wouldn't have any contanct with my family back home, except by phone, and that's expensive. It would also mean that I wouldn't access the news as quickly as I can now and research things for school as easily.
I don't think I would be bored without the Internet - actually I think it would encourage my participation in real-life activities more, but I would be missing so many of the benefits it offers.
What do you think? =P

Without the internet I too would probably become more involved in real life matters. Instead of sitting on the computer all weekend I'd probably... sit on the xBox instead..? xD No, I'm kidding. I'd probably spend more time outside with you. =P
I'd miss the ability to research information for school. I don't think I'd do half as well education-wise without the internet. I can get ideas for projects, sure, but I also enjoy reading up random facts for the heck of it. The internet has widened the perspectives of almost every user and the world would never be the same with this privilege lost. Communication, I feel, is very important as well. No more chatting?? No more free telephone calls with to brother in the States (Skype)? No more mass multiplayer games? :o
Like you, I don't think I'd really get bored without internet but I would miss the many benefits it provides us. Internet has made life so much easier and I can't imagine such a loss in conveniency.

Yup, I would miss a lot of the activities and convenience provided by the internet, just as you mentioned. However, I would still be able to get certain things done, albeit at a slower speed, maybe higher cost - communication and news.
But I don't think I would be bored - fortunately I enjoy reading and watching TV, so I can turn to this for entertainment. It would also mean more time for me to go out, walk around or hang out with friends!
