I have a friend (a teacher) who is working on a project for his class who requested my help but I don't know much about this.
Does anyone here know of any Australian Christmas traditions? By that, I mean, ones that are unique to Australia. And can someone tell me the top five or six tourist destinations in Australia? Also, do you know of any Christmas music that's been composed by an Australian? Thanks for any information in advance.

I don't have the stats on this...
But my guess would be that Sydney is the top tourist destination.
Cairns second for visitors to the Great Barrier reef.
Then you have Melbourne, Alice Spring and Surfers Paradise.
The Christmas tradition is to have a huge lunch on Christmas Day.
All the family gets together... and take turns each year to host that lunch... unless someone has an holiday house to do it every year.
The most common food is a whole leg of ham and a large turkey.
