Posting in other languages / myLot

Hi all fellow mylotters, I notice a lot of posters here use English as their second language. Is it against the rules to post in other langauges at Mylot? I'm thinking language practice, or exchange. I don't criticize anyone's English as it is very good, but I know many of us speak a variety of foreign languages so, can we post in Spanish, French, etc.? habeebi

Yes it is against the terms of myLot to use other language except English. It is specified that you can only use English unless you are going to translate some word or words in the forum and that's the only time you can use different language.

I haven't seen entire discussions in other than English but I have seen people post paragraphs in their native language. I'm always curious when I see these as to what they say. It would certainly be an education to everyone else if people would occasionally teach us a few phrases or words in their own language!
