Is it the place or a person who matters most? I have moved away from the place where I grew up and come back several times. I always seem to come back here. The saying means something that you say which means that your true home is with the person or in the place that you love most. That would be my hubby. I would miss my home, but would move with him in a heart beat if we had to.

Hello ersmommy. I think that it is the person who matters most when it is concerned with home. I love my home mainly because I have a loving and caring and thoughtful wife and parents and children. They are what I care and love most. East, west, home is the best.

I think it can become rather complicated. There's your husband or wife, the house you've lived in for years, an area where you grew up, where your relatives and friends live.
I can see someone who loves their spouse greatly still needing some time to adjust to living in a new house or a new city. Sometimes a place just don't feel like home because it is so new.

Yep, if I don't feel at home somewhere then it won't feel like home to me..So if your heart isn't in the place you are living then you won't connect with it or feel pride in it.

Although my top hobby is traveling there really is no better place than home. It is exciting to spend time oversees but the accommodation is never the same as my comfortable home. Where ever I go in the world I always come back to my home. People like close family members mean a lot so I know what you mean about you wanting to be with your husband. A new house if you move can soon become home.

Yes! Love is where the heart is! Doesn't matter. The place that makes us happiest is where our love lies. Warmth and purpose. Logically we want to be needed and loved and where we feel that is where our home is.

yes, I believe so. Whenever I am out of home, at the end of the day, my mind and body always look forward to going home. This includes spending time with my family, have dinner together or just play around with my nieces and nephew. The home is where my heart belongs and it is my family. I always miss home whenever I go out for work, school or travel.

I really think that is the case for my family. I know alot of people let their hearts go to other places and that does not make a happy home.

I don't know how to describe the meaning of home but I am the one who always think about I want to stay at home and don't go to work because home is the place where we stay with parent and each others happy together, eat together talk and had fun. Sometimes, home is warm for me and I like to say I like my family and home.
