What is your opinion about weight-losing ?

Nowdays weight-losing has become popular among young and middle-aged women.In order to make themselves pretty-looking.They try many different ways of losing weight.Some go on a diet,some take exercise,some eat medicine,others even turn to operation for help.As a result ,a lot of products have come into being,such as special medicines ,tea and equipment.They are used in different ways work differently,but some have side effects.
In my opinion ,it is understandable that women seek beauty,but they should do it in a proper way .Take exercise is the way that i most favor.But the other methods are likely to do harm to people's health more or less.
What is your opinion?

I find it sad that women are made to feel they have NO worth unless they are skinny & beautiful. It is the inner beauty that makes a woman (or a man for that matter) worthy!!! Personally, I think we need to forget about our size & worry about how kind our hearts are being. A skinny b!tch is still a b!tch. A loving fat person can give you the world!!! There's a country in Africa where the fatter the woman the more revered she is & the men MUST remain skinny to have worth. I've been toying with the idea to find a cruise liner & offer every fat woman in the US the opportunity to go to a place where she would be worshiped for her size. That way the men would be left with their perfect women & could see how soon they would become dissatisfied. In my lifetime, I have found that the beautiful people ONLY think of themselves & use everyone who befriends them. A beautiful person soon becomes ugly due to their heart. An ugly, fat person can soon become beautiful for exactly the same reason.

I humbly suggest that you are full of crap!!!
But this is a reality world. Outer beauty will always be the priority of choices. Beside, I believe weight loss is always a suggestive thing to do. When you become more presentable, you will become more confidence of yourself.
I hear NO total agreement here. I hear a man who agrees that outer beauty is what he prefers. If you truly looked into the heart, you would see beauty & confidence. Skinny does NOT mean automatic confidence any more than fat means lack of confidence.
In reality, we are born to look the way we look. Yes, some can control their figure with a diet. However, some cannot. Those who cannot should NOT be made to feel less worthy because some jack azz prefers a skinny woman. I would hope a fat woman would look into that pitiful heart & say "Thank God he doesn't like me!!!" I have known women who weigh 98 pounds that has NO confidence & have known some who weigh over 350 pounds that had ALL the confidence in the world.
The African country of Mauritania adores fat women so that blows your theory of Outer beauty will always be the priority of choices. It is NOT the priority of choice there & there are over 3 million people who live there. When a female child is born, she is force fed in order to make her gain weight so men will desire her. There have been other cultures who admire fat people.
The people in this world are growing fatter every day. I would think that soon fat will be the admired & skinny will become pitiful. If you're fat, it will show that you can afford to eat. If you're skinny, it will be assumed that you have NOTHING!!! Money will be MORE important than looks.

I totally agreed with you. Inner beauty is always better the outer beauty. But this is a reality world. Outer beauty will always be the priority of choices. Beside, I believe weight loss is always a suggestive thing to do. When you become more presentable, you will become more confidence of yourself. Anyway, anyhow, always look into inner beauty too..

i think exercise is still the best to loose weight but for others it will take time for them to get the result they wanted. but for me discipline will help you loose weight because if you have discipline you will eat only in moderation to avoid gaining weight, be choosy in what you eat. eat only those you think is healthy, less carbohydrates and fats. avoid junkfoods, foods with caffeine etc. if you can do all this you don't need to engage yourself in taking slimming pills or undergo operation just to loose weight.

Well, losing weight is good for health......... As you said, one can loose weight by going on a diet or by doing regular exercises.......... What i feel is doing regular exercises is the best way to loose weight............. And this make you healthy too.........

uhhuh exercise is the best way and also eat healthy food with enough portion but oftenly. i dont like taking a medicine nor operation, coz its not natural. for me, its the same with we dont appreciate wat God has gave us, its different with exercise , its a way to taking care of our body n make it healthy..

women tend to be more conscious about their weight more than men do. They do every thing --- form diet, liposuction and even surgery --- just to lose all those unwanted flabs.Diet pills and surgeries are popular nowadays for easy ways to lose weight. But what you really need to do is to have discipline in proper diet and exercise in order to achieve the body that you want.

I think we're all different sizes for a reason. Some of us were meant to be bigger and some smaller. Just naturally so. If you want to loose weight, do it because you want to.Don't let the media or anyone influence your outlook. If you do want to loose weight, though, don't do any thing extreme. it's not good for you. You gain the weight slowly and loose it slowly.

well its a matter of opinion i think. i had a lot of weight in feb in the start of this year and i didn't like to exercise to i changed my diet, now in November i have lost nearly 60 pounds. And i am proud of my accomplishment.

weight loss is becoming more important. i know i need to lose a fair bit, but i've also built up a fair bit of muscle, with my job i do, so now have gone up a size in tops. i enjoy going out for a walk with the dogs most days when i get time. i aslo ride horses, and am going to have to do a bit more road riding to work on my thighs.
some larger ladies are actually quite pretty, when they do them selves up. they can also be your better friends, one of my closer friends is larger. but with out insulting her on why she can't get a job is she needs to lose some weight, and not look quite as big, that apart from experience.
but clothes can be hard to get, you can't just buy t-shirts now, it's mainly fitted tops in store, and i don't always wanty to wear a fitted top to work.
