I think milk helps a bit of getting sleepy. Sometimes I found myself awake still at 4am with my eyes wide open. And thought of nothing. Just cant fall to sleep. And the trick is milk I think!
Because reading of doing something makes your brain work so how you will fall to sleep if your doing something or thinking of anything. right?

heard about melatonin? after taking one capsule of that natural hormone supplement, I dozed off for the first time in my life at 8 in the evening, and suddenly found myself waking up at 5. I don't usually wake up that early. I never knew the first thing about dawn until then. But I felt refreshed. Not the woke-up-at-wrong-side-of-the-bed type of rising. Hot choco has caffeine I think, so milk is a better option. Melatonin doesn't work on everybody, as I've learned. But it's worth trying. It's not very expensive.

Hello za_isse. If Im having a hard time sleeping, I would probably listen to soothing music it always relaxes me. I also could read a book until I feel sleepy.

i'll drink some hot milk or maybe eat some stuff like bread with some butter or cheese..
If i really can't sleep at all and i know i have to sleep because i have a lot of stuff waiting to be done and i knew i need to rest well before starting my work, i would eat til i'm 3 quarter full then head to bed...this technique (it's works for me, i don't know if it worls on other people) was found when i had a heavy lunch before i missed breakfast on that day and i feel really sleepy after that. I ended up sleeping in the class..

yehehe...we call that PIG SYNDROME. Like a pig after being fed would sleep. Not that you're a pig or anything, alright? But I heard it isn't healthy. IT gives you indigestion problems. A lot of diseases stem just from simple cases of indigestion. And the bad part is you are indigested but you may not manifest symptoms for that. You'll just get sickly as you age.

I use the time that I cannot sleep to read pocketbooks. But if I really need to sleep, I do self-hypnosis.

I find that reading helps me to fall asleep easier. I don't get a lot of quiet tim to rad so I always try reading right before I go to bed. I have been known to fall asleep while reading! LOL

If Ifound it hard to sleep, I would read a book or magazine or I will go and look at TV to see if that helps.
