This is really a generic question that really anyone can answer for me I put it in sports because that's where I find my release. After a hard days at work I often find that I just need that release and time away from the world as we know it. In order for me to do this I often head to the rink strap my skates on and hit a puck around for a bit. The feeling when I'm in there is indescribable. Hearing the crunch of the ice beneath my feet feeling time as I know it slip but making no difference. Catching the cold breeze in my face and taking a slap shot. All of my frustrations all of my days woes are left at the door and as soon as I step on that ice I literally feel 'free'and sooo ALIVE. I feel like I have this invisible shield where no one can ruin this time. Often after I'm done I feel soo refreshed with life and just with my demeanor.
For others it may be the sound of the ball bouncing or the water grazing their face. For others it may be a stroke of the keyboard, the feel of the needle, or the slippery essence of the oil.
When you do your hobby what does it feel like to you? Why do you do it and what satisfaction lays within that hobby or sport?
