How many days, months, years did it take you to reach 1000 rating?

I am very interested in knowing how long it took each individual of this site (well not each individual as I doubt this will get that many lol) but I would like to know how long did it take you to reach your 1000th rating? I have been here for just three days and already I'm an addict. Crazy I know. But to me it doesn't seem like it would really take that long to reach that 1000th post. For me it will probably be reached within a months time (At least that's what I'm reaching for) if not maybe 2-3 months time.
SO do tell how long did it take you?

I have been here since two years now. December 2006 I joined this site. But, trust me, it took me ages to reach that first 1000! It took a while to figure out the intricacies. Even though myLot is quite user friendly with a pretty page, it had a different theme then and to top that I was novice to this whole world of internet.

Indeed Amanda. And sometimes you cant really figure out as to WHY? In this regard myLot needs to be more transparent.

I do find it hard though when you get points taken away. (usually because something you responded to gets deleted or locked etc) That's the only discouraging thing from time to time.

I haven't reached my 1000th post yet.
by I think by december I will be able to reach it.
so, it will take me about 4 months to have 1000 posts.

I think it would depend on how you work with the site. If you can post or reply 34 discussions in a day you will reach your 1000th in 30 days. Don't worry, it's just easy. Just enjoy answering post that interests you. Share some topics with mylot people then slowly but surely you would get what you wanted. Good luck!

It's not that I 'want' it per say I was more or less curious as to how long it took some members. It doesn't seem like it would be a hard task to reach. But then again for others you never know.

I was gonna ask your age when you made that statement but the I realized you were talking about the ratings haha :) I don't see it as a competition though. There's no end goal it makes for a messy ending HAHHA :)

I think it took me about three months to reach the 1000 rating. The first two months, I was on the myLot ball but lately I've been lagging and I think I'll be lagging some more in the months to come.

i don't know when will i be able to reach 1000 posts. i would just keep on posting until i reach it but right now i just wanted to reach 500 post before the year ends.
