I have a Sony Ericsson W10! and I have had it for one year. Nothing has gone wrong with it, but I have not used it that much except for taking photos. So I was wondering in terms of long lastedness, what is the best one? I was thinking of getting an IPHONE. We have our own camera, and since the IPHONE is expensive, I did not want to get it if it just lasts three years and that is that. I have two years left on my contact coming up in July, so I want one that will last some time and it has to be a world phone. So what is the best make, brand, etc. for durability?

Maye that 200 times is for abusive owners. I would only charge when I needed to, like when the battery runs out.

I am not into counting that much. I do not know how much I charged mine, but I know it was about one a week and when I did not use it, nine days.

My husband and I both have LG phones through Verizon. I've never really liked them, but we've had them for years and never had a problem. We won't change until they give out because we hate being under a contract unless we have to. There are other phones I'd want, like a Motorola, which I think are the better phones. But, for us to think this phone wasn't good, we have been very surprised in how it's held up.

I will have to check them out. Our Telus service up here in Canada is something like your Verizon. I belong to Rogers, which is like your A T & T. From what I've heard Verizon is not that good. I hate contracts, but I also hate pay as you go as well.

Verizon may not be good in Canada, but it's very good and popular here in the US. We get much better coverage than Nextel of Cingular/Sprint around here. When we get in coverage, there is hardly ever a drop. My daughter has always had Nextel which they used to say was the best, but she gets dropped all the time. Plus, I hate having to wait for them to find the Nextel customer. Don't know why they can't just let it ring, and if they get it fine, and if not, that's fine, too.

The most popular here is the Telus, but I got Rogers because it makes World phones. We were planning a trip to Europe before my husband got his stroke.

I don't know much about cell phones I have a Motorola trac-phone that my mom bought it is okay for emergencies I guess but my sister in law says her Motorola Razr phone is a good phone that will last especially if taken car of. I have heard good and bad things about the IPHONE. So I hope that you will be cautious before spending out all that money for one and hope someone on here can direct you i the right direction so you will be able to get a good phone that will last.

I have the same nokia 3210 for the last five years. I have never had any problems with it. It's not a camera phone but I have a digital camera for that. Its the best phone that I have ever had. I use it every day for calls and texts. I dont see myself changing it in the near future but when I do it will be another nokia phone. :-)
