yes it will surely do,as the default spec for the computers coming out is 250GB, windows vista, nice graphic card, cool processor. So most will start to use vista and forgot about xp as the spec of the new computer is increasing , which is low in cost nowadays

I HAVE JUST installed vista ultimate on my desktop,it seems beautiful and not so slow as I have heard but the software compatibility of vista is really a problem.Anyhow,XP is abandoned by MS,and vista direct the new way of the product development of Windows. If U stick to use Windows, you must get accustomed to whatever MS push to U,..do U agree?..Luckily enough,I found Linux-another kind of excellent OS to take some role of my computer use.Ubuntu is one of the best OS I have ever used.

I have XP on both my computers, and I have no complaints about it at all. I will use it as long as it does what I want it to do....

i like vista much better than xp.the control panel is laid out more logically, windows exlporer is easier to use wmp11 runs great on vista, superfetch really works and makes your programs run open instantly plus vista looks really cool. i havent even run into one program i used to use on xp that doesnt work on vista they usually run better on vista and that is my opinion and yeas vista will be aroun for quite awhile

I personally think that both are good... everyone always says, "Oh, Vista is crap!" -- well, not necessarily. It's different, I will tell you that, but it's not "crap." I can't really tell you which one is better, mainly because my better may not be your better, but I will say that you will probably like XP more if you want stability and you will like Vista more if you want a "clean" feel to your computer.

Vista is new that's why a lot of people who are very used with XP says that it's not good but actually Vista's features are way better than XP, you just have familiarized yourself with it. I would sya that Vista is for advanced users while XP are for most of us who use it for emails and internet surfing :).

To say the truth, I never recommended Vista before. I had been using Windows XP since a few months after its release and Win XP had better security than its predicessors. Microsoft too, released Service Packs to enhance the security. Having tried Vista then, I never failed to recommend Vista. The graphics rendering, security, compatibility, styles, user-friendly method and all makes Vista the best OS on offer. But, I bet, no user will downgrade his OS after using Vista.. ;) But, there are some cases, if the user has a very low-end pc.. :) Cheers..
