I have a confused body clock because I need to work shifts on my job. Every 4 working days have a day off. It is very difficult for me to do the next shift because I need to adjust my body clock in a very short period of time. Sometimes I can't get into sleep and keep awake all night. What can I do something to improve this kind of physical condition? I think there are many people have this kind of trouble to bother them. Does someone can give us some good advices?

My Dear Friend
I think that physical exercise can help you in this.
I suggest you that go for a long walk for 30 minutes daily .
I think it will help you greatly
Eat balanced diet is also helping in adjusting body clock
Thanks For raising such a good discussion.....!
Happy Mylotting !
Take Care !

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I usually take a walk everyday and it can do some help. Doing some mild exercise can make us feel relaxed. Drinking some lemon or apple juice can help us to get into sleep sooner than the usual time.

I don't think you can adjust your body clock to irregular hours, I was told by my doctor that regular hours are a must for good sleep...I worked shift work for years and I personally think it is the cause of my sleep habits now, it is not a good thing to do this to your body, as my doctor sais nature gives us darkness for one reason, it is time to sleep, our bodies are in tune for sleep at this time and the air is in tune for the same reason.. I know some people have no choice but it is just really not a good thing for you...

I have no choice except for quitting the job and find a job that don't need to work shift. I do agree with your viewpoint. I can't sleep well in the day time when I need to do the night shift. Day light can make my body clock in wake up model.

the best thing for me is to make sure i go to sleep at the same time everynight. i work monday through friday and i have weekends off. with the exception of this weekend i usually try to be in bed by 11 on the weekends and at 9 on the week nights.
your body needs to have consistency
