Who believes in Santa Claus?

I don't believe in Santa Claus as real person in the present time. I do believe that the idea behind "Santa" came from Saint Nicolis. However, to drag on such an out dated idea and force children to obey because "santa is always watching" seems a bit silly. I have a son and I don't do the santa stuff, it's my personal choice and I am looked on for it by members of his father's family. I see nothing wrong with telling my son the truth and avoiding the awkward time in school where half the students believe and the other half know it was there parents stuffing the presents under the tree.
