mylot number of discussion decreases?

It happens from time to time and it's usually not your fault. If someone's discussion was deleted and you had responded to that discussion, your response was also deleted. Just keep posting and keep having fun and don't worry about breaking the rules...I'm sure you won't.

Hi! I also have kept tab of the number of discussions that I have because my number decreased, too. Even my earnings the following day! Today, just out of curiosity, I responded to a discussion about another site that pays. Then, I responded to another discussion. Then I noticed that my number just went up only one number higher when I actually responded to two discussions. I checked my "responded" page, and I saw that the discussion on the 'other site' was not credited, only the other discussion. Now I know that when a discussion is deleted, then the points are not credited when we responded to that deleted discussion. Thus, you did not break any rules. The discussant did. Happy myLotting!

This actually happens from time to time to all of us. Especially when it is the end of the month, and they are busily going thru discussions here and deleting the ones they feel are against the TOS as well. Sometimes we may not always agree when somethings are deleted here, but it happens. All I can say, is do not let it bother you. Continue to enjoy being a member here and Wishing you the Best.

Hi mrbrownedeye Well I do not think your number of posts are decreasing of because of your own fault.Maybe in some discussion where you have participated is deleted by that user who created it or from mylot itself as it(The Discussion) was violating the terms.So,Do Not worry keep posting.I myself also had such an experience and that is why I came to know about it.

I have noticed the same thing has happened to me. I do not know whether it has to do with someone else's discussion being deleted, because I have lost a lot of points, at least twelve. It would be nice to know why this is happening, in order to avoid it from happening again. If the deletion was due to someone's discussion, I would think one point would be lost, not many points.

Same here, my post is always decreasing everyday. I dont understand it anymore . In a whole week i have only 40 post that is to bad for my average post a day is 15 to 20 discussion. I dont know where did it go. I guess mylot cannot control the volume of the discussion posted here so they deleted it just like that. i just think it that way so i can still continue posting here.

It might not be your discussion that got deleted. If you responded to somebody elses discussion and it got deleted your number will go down.

It happens from time to time. There are many reasons why it could have happened, none necessarily your fault.

The same thing happened to me yesterday also. I was so happy that I reached my 1000 and when I logged in today it was 992. I had been surfing and reviewing my past discussions and responses so that I will know in which part I violated the rules at mylot so Ill avoid it next time. But unfortunately I was not able to find it. Maybe that is what really happens here. If it ain't our discussion maybe its the discussions we responded that has been deleted. I feel very sad because I don't give short replies. Anyway, you are not alone. Just keep posting. But I feel bed because I lost a lot of number. Take care =)

Hi mrbrownedeye! I have the same problem here. Last month when it was near month-end, this things also happened. Last night when I logged in to myLot, I had 872 posts already. Then I was able to post another 11 after two hours or so while having a chat with my sister. So I expected my posts to be 883 after that. But I noticed that my posts went down to 873. Ouch! I don't remember making violations as well so I was so sad last night when I signed out here in myLot. It bothered me that I couldn't sleep. Today, I started with 873. After posting one response in a discussion, my number of posts went down again to 865. Huhuhu... I don't know what's happening.

my mylot posts also dicreased from 142 it dropped to 138. i also don't understand what is happening to my posts even if i post new responses still it didn't increase. if this will continue i don't think mylotters will still be as eager as before in posting their responses to a discussion. can mylot do something about it or can they just explain why is this happening?

i did not meet this probelm, maybe it just a system question. I am a new here, hope to learn more here.
