What is the real purpose of living?

Recently, i often think of death and what i can do in my life. I do not want to pursue a colourful materical life. In more cases, we become numb and not thinking just for its too heavy heart, just alive, even no target. I do not know which life i i want to have. What do you think about the real purpose of living? Do you have targets of life? What are they?

The purpose of living like any other living thing on this planet is to maintain the continuity of our species, its that simple. The problem is that God put a huge and supposedly intelligent brain in our thick skulls that makes us wonder what we are doing here on a piece of rock whizzing through space.
