This is sumthing that is very close to my heart for ages. I am 'bigger' model and i feel sumone like myself should be seen out there in the world more instead of ur usual 'stereo type' model. Guys and Gals all have different tastes after all. I recently received a message from a young lady and she was praising me for showing young girls that u can still look 'big' and look fantastic. She went on to say how she use to get bullied at school for not being 'slim' so i know 'campaign' for the 'larger' lady to be seen more. What are ur views?

Of course they should! I'm a big girl myself and it annoys me when I open a magazine or turn on the television and the only type of woman I see on TV is one that starves herself or diets obsessively to be thin because that's what's in, cool or the only way people will market them. It's ridicilous. There are many types of people in the world, and those people have different tastes and thin is not popular, it's not as great as people think it is. Real women, those that aren't afraid to be who they are, they love themselves, etc deserve and need to be showcased in the media. It's needed.

I think one thing that's keeping a lot of men back from admitting that they like bigger women is societal pressure. It's not cool to date a big woman. You're friends want you to date some cute young thing with a 'tight' body and all of this other crap and if you like someone different they're going to do nothing but pick on you the entire time and make fun of you because you don't have a cute little girlfriend. Of course the media pressures people too. Everywhere you look you have skinny girls dating large guys. You never see big women dating skinny guys. And, the media shows nothing but skinny, scantily clad women on TV as well. The only people that can really admit they prefer larger women over skinny girls are those that don't care what people think and aren't easily influed by the media and their peers.

it is so true, guys dont like admiting they like a bigger female again cause the way media had brain washed them, i want to brain wash them to thinking differently..lol I dont actually being thin is as as popular as being real, just like u say guys dont like admitting it. Just wish the media could alter their views.

This is great :) Unfortunately back home people look at the chubbier girls in a different way :( I used to be stick thin but when i gained abt 15 pounds everyone kept saying nasty things about me :( I really don't understand the big deal about weight gain and fuller figures. For me it's great if someone is confident about their body :) but of course this doesn't mean being irresponsible about our health :)
