For six month ago, I did bought a new cell phone for my son. Now, he got a new one from his father. My sister had a look at different new models of cell phones, and thought she wanted a new one. I am wondering, why do people want to have a new cell phone when they already have one. I mean, the nly thing you should do with it, is talk in it, when you are not reachble at home. Why is so hard to keep with the one you had. I do not say anything about changing cell phone when it is bad, broke or something, but only changing to another color, or chape......why is that?

They're not just changing cell phones for the color or shape, they are changing them
because the cells that keep coming out have new things that you can do with them and
the kids want the new things. Like the cameras, when they came out everyone was
switching their phones. And then the internet capabilities on some cell phones, more
kids went and got new ones for that.
So I think the reason is because of the new technoligy that comes out and the kids want
the new things. I have the same cell phone I got for free when I signed up to a three
year contract and will keep it till my three years are up, which is this January, and
then I will get a new phone with the next plan I sign up to.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Have a good day mylotting, Chris

I get the point, however, a phone are supose to be used for talking, not anything els in my opinion. If for some reason You need all the stuff extra with it, they should make a new product and name it someting els. I have mine and it works fine. I bought it for a couple of years ago, still I can take a picture with it, but never do. I hardly bring it with me when I am going out, wich in some ways are stupid of me, but if the people want to get hold of me, they can call me back at home. I do not like to talk in those little things anyways, I hardly hear what people say to me. Well, of toworkday tomorrow.

My contract is actually up now that it is Feb. but I haven't heard anything from my
provider so I am just going to leave it alone right now because I am on a plan that no
longer exists and it would cost me about double as I am paying now. I have a plan that
is only $18 plus all the other regular charges and now the cheapest one they offer is
$29.

For middle aged persons its just a speaking and smsing device, but thats not the same case with students its like their fashion icon..most of the students in my country change mobiles for once in two months and thats the case and many models keep on coming every day..so only they keep cell phones every now and then..

I think it is stupid to change a phone like that. And my wonder is, who is paying for them. I certanly do not afford those changes my son want. And the only reason my son got a new phone was becouse of him, changing his phone....i do not understand it, why spend money like that, when others hardly have to pay the bills, or get gifts for christmas. In my opinion , that is out of order in my book.

I think you dont understand the trend that is going today..when you were a teenager you probably would have liked to wear a new dress or have a bi-cycle or bike, but today everyone wants to have the latest phone, fatest bike and the best of clothes..i think trend is changing and do act upon the cahnging trend..happy mylotting..

Well that mabee, but it is not the teens that pay for it, is it. ???? And why should we have to be availble all the time. I do not want to learn my kids that you are suppose to be on going all the seconds of their life as the cell phone actually make you. They are also far more expensive to have in my opinion and since it is not the kids who pay for it, I think they should keep what they have untill it is not working anymore. You can not go at by stuff just to have the latest brands. I do not earn that kind of money every day.

I also did get one cell phone, and I have not yet change it. I do not see the reason why. As long as it do what it suppose to do it is fine with me. I also feel that if some one want to be in touch with me, they can call me at home on my regerly phone. You need you space that means if you go to store, or have a meeting with some one els, that means you are not available all the time. A cell phone can actually be stressfull.
