Do you believe in the saying, "No man is an Island"?

Yes. I think everyone has someone to take care and loves them. Loners are not completely loners at all but if they are really like an island that is alone then maybe something's wrong with them. Maybe they have problems or they just are used to it as they call themselves loners.

Hi there Valadynx123!
I do not really think that a man can live on his own. No man is an island indeed. We all need some people to live with. We cannot totally live on our own. You are right, maybe there are people who just live some time on their own. However, life is more worth living with people around us. We can be loners but only for a while. Not for a lifetime definitely.

I think that every individual on this earth is related to some or the other person in terms of care and concern. Everybody may feel to stay alone under certain situations and circumstances but if a person is all alone in life then might be they like living alone without anybody around...

I think that people have an innate need for socialization. I would consider myself somewhat of a loner but to me that means that there are times that I prefer to be alone but I couldn't do without any human interaction at all. I think that if someone is cut off from human interaction it could lead to emotional or psychological problems. I've seen studies done in the workplace that indicate that if you are not accepted into the group of people that you work with, you are not likely to stay with the company. Interesting topic.
