I have been thinking of starting a discussion like this for a few days. I can't stand when people lie. I always confront someone when they lie and mostly stop hanging around a person when they lie. It really makes me mad and I have had people lie to me over stupid little stuff that wouldn't have bothered me but, the lie itself was what killed our friendship.

When one lies once to me...already the relationship starts to waiver..but when they repeatedly lie..this is the end of the relationship..As someone said in an earlier post..it becomes friend changes to the aquaintance status when the friend habitually lies.

I do not like to deal with people who constantly lie to me, especially if I ask for the truth. I do not mind being lied to once in a while because sometimes it is something which had to be done.
Friends who has been proven to be pathological liars drop in status, from friends to mere acquaintances. It is not my habit to completely break off relationships because there is a possibility they may change their attitude.

I agree on that.. How can you really be a friend to someone who cannot tell the truth..it has to be mere aquaintances who ..although they are not friends..you will give them the common curteousy of being nice to them.

Really i hate those guys who are lier. Because i am a short temper if any body say lie then automatically i will get little bit harashment. But according to the situation we have to handle the things.

Yes circumstances alter our response...and sometimes what causes one to be a liar does too;)
