What would you say is the best way to have referrals join under you?

I have been on My Lot for some while now but I haven't concentrated that much in the way of referrals. Do you have any experience with this and what is your recommendation? I suppose it's a nice thing to have a referral list of your own and the income incentive is quite attractive too! I have made a start! I have two referrals to my list although it seems that one has become inactive on My Lot. What would you advise and what method works best for you? Andrew

For me, the best way to get referrals in my sites is to have an exchange. Other people will register in a particular site under my referral and I, in return, will join a site under his or her referral. But sometimes, it becomes unfair when only one is doing his or her part, but the other just registered and did nothing after signing up for the site.

I have heard about that and this makes a lot of sense. I agree though that there's always going to be someone who is nothing but a taker and always fails to give! I still have to start promoting my link, I have not done that as yet. Andrew

It's really hard to have active referrals, I have two also but the other one just signed in and not yet pasrticipating, however that's what is nice with mylot you can survive earning even without referrals by just being hardworking yourself but of course active referrals would be of big help as well. We just have to continue inviting, maybe, our friends to join mylot till we found active referrals, without neglecting our own participation.

That is very true! I like participating a lot in my lot and I feel that this is the only real way of successfully earning on My Lot. I guess I will promote my link a fair amount as well, see if I cannot get lucky somehow. Andrew

It's a shame that you have given up although I can understand the reasons why! It is very difficult to get referrals, I only have two of my own! Anyway, I'm looking into the possibility of adding the My Lot link to two of my blogs, this might be a good place to start I think. There's just so much that you can do as regards bringing people to My Lot. Anyway, good luck with whatever you plan to do. Andrew

Yes, I understand that! Not everyone is in to the referrals game. There are far more important things on My Lot than just referrals! Anyway, I'm still interested in finding some more referrals of my own! I'm hoping that I will get lucky eventually. Andrew

I guess the simplest and best way is to do a mass e-mailing of all your friends in your address book. That way you would more than likely be assured that at least 2 or 5 people may sign up. As everything, though, it's a numbers game. Nothing is guaranteed.

Hi, thanks for your thoughts. I guess that is true and I'm going to have to put a lot more work into securing some more referrals. Hopefully the time and effort will pay off! Andrew

You have two referrals like me! Well, one is active in my case and I am pleased about that. I haven't posted my link on a blog as yet so I suppose I'm going to have to do that at some stage. Just imagine if you had ten or twenty referrals and they were all participating in My Lot! That would be a good thing no doubt! Andrew
