Did you see any wildlife on your last vacation?

I am so looking forward to going to Cape Town in January. I will love seeing the penguins, the seals, the dolphins and the baboons. It won't be the season for whale watching or shark viewing. I will probably take lots of photos. Did you see any wildlife on your last vacation? If so which animals did you see?

Zoos and wildlife preservation areas can be so great. I can offer that the Brevard Zoo and the Merritt Island Refuge near Cape Canaveral are two suggestions. The zoo is one of the lesser known zoos and is never crowded. The Refuge has a drive meandering through its swamp and grasslands. Even from our vehicle we saw several egrets and other wild birds. There were alligators and even a wild boar. Did you have a zoo in mind that you will visit.

I always like to see wildlife when on vacation. Love to look at native animals in their own environment. Over the years, your travels have raised two questions in my mind. If you consider them too personal, I won't be offended as really they're none of my business, however here goes. Does having your toddler hamper you? Does your older son ever travel with you? I took my youngsters away several times when they were only three or four plus, and I remember the times we had looking after them.

Hello maximax. It is so exciting to be able to see a different wildlife in another continent. I wish that I could afford to travel anywhere I would like to some day. Good luck to you and take care, friend.

My wildlife isn't that exciting, we were at the caraven park so saw seagulls, and there was a field next door to our park and there were lots of wild rabbits

If you will allow that Thanksgiving holiday was a vacation. I will offer the 20 wild turkeys that boldly trounced over our field. We had been seeing them everyday for the last month and always counting the group. The original pack was 18 that grew to 20. Yes it grew to 20 even after the close of Turkey Hunting Season. Now there are two groups because I have seen a new group of 6 or 7 rambling the fields of our mountainside neighborhood.

I am working in an institute situated in wild area and regularly I come across chimpanzees, snakes, foxes and peacocks. So when I take vacations it is usually a hill station or a sea beach as both are my favorites. In my last vacation I visited many gardens but not any wildlife.
