I love to wear casual clothes rather than formal, but on some occasions one can't avoid but wear formal clothes. I would much rather be in a jacket than in a suit. When i went to see my wife for the firs time (before we got married. mine was an arranged marriage), my father asked me to put on a suit, I rebeled and wore a pair of jeans and a jacket. My wife now tells me that she was glad I came in a pair of jeans and not in a suit. We met we talked and liked each other and then it was love.
I alwasy wear casual clothes whenever i can. What about you?

I live in casual cloths, but I like to get dressed up once in a while, the trouble is my body shape changes so much that I have to go buy sosmething when I want to get dressy. So I just don't do it, I'd rather buy sosmething we really need instead.
When you get time will you speak to the subject of arranged marriages, many people need to know that it is common in many parts of the world and can be very successful.

Well I am a hippy by nature and so I am much happier in casual clothes. I do not think I have ever worn formal clothes at all as I tend to stay away from such events. I like thongs and sarongs or light skirts, things that keep me cool in a hot climate.
So I wear casual clothes all the time. Still a nice dress can be fun to wear but I cannot wear high heels as they cause me back pain. So If I did dress up in a nice dress, if I had one, it would be low heels.

Yeah, i guess it depends upon the occasion. Haha.. If it's a formal gathering, well i would definitely wear a formal dress but then if it is not that strict.. being unique would be fun. Haha.. But casual clothes are my favorites. ^__^ I guess the kind of clothes that you wear doesn't really matter as long as you are comfortable with it, comfortable with your self and have the guts to pull it off. Haha. Cheers!

the clothes that i wear would really depend on where i am going to, though just like you i prefer to wear casual clothes everyday for this make me comfy with my every movement. i would prefer wearing jeans and shirt rather that slacks, blouses and jackets. but then again we can't really avoid it especially in formal occasions that we are require to wear something formal of course we don't like looking out of place. LOL

I, like most people here, prefer casual, comfortable clothes, although being a girl there are those times when I am in the mood for dressing up and going somewhere nice. I find, though as I am getting older that the majority of the time I feel much better in a t-shirt and my favourite pair of jeans or shorts. It is the same with make-up,nowadays I don't bother wearing any except lipstick. How I feel is more important to me than how I look these days!

I always prefer to dress according to the occasion, even though sometimes this decision may cause me some inconvenience.I wear casual clothes at home or when I go shopping or while travelling. But for formal occasions,or when I ahve to meet some one,or attend a particular function, I dress formally to suit the occasion, because, the right type of dress increases my confidence and will not make me the odd woman out......

My preference is right in-between. I think it called, business casual. When I was younger I LOVED the formal affairs. After a while it wears me down. I guess about 10 years ago my husband and I even started looking for cruise lines, since we love to cruise, that did not have the formal attire dinner night. Jeans though are not always appropos. I suppose that is why I like right in the middle.

Frankly speaking,I don't mind casual or formal clothes.
As for me,Any kind of clothes which will make me appear more pretty is OK.
And either casual or formal clothes has its advantages.
But I think suits make a man charming, especially office workers, especially tall men.....

I prefer to wear casual clothes too. I like freedom. When I wear formal clothes, I feel uncomfortable and I am not the true myself. And I also like the people who wear casual clothes. In my opinion, wearing casual clothes can show canfinity. I think to communicate people wearing casual clothes is easier and more comfortable than people who wear formal clothes. Well, I have to admit in some situations, we have to wear formal clothes, otherwise that would be considered as a bad manner. So I wear formal clothes by courtesy when it is necessary, and wear casual clothes at most time.

I always wear casual clothes even in the office, my husband would always remind me that I have to dress a bit more formally so that my staffs and the other employees would respect me. I prefer dressing comfortably so that i can focus on my work and not on fixing myself up everytime. i see women who wear really high heels then they have a hard time going to places because their feet is killing them or wearing pencil cuts then they have a hard time moving around. for me, i don't care what they think about my wardrobe, the important thing is i get the job done.

So do I. Even when I was working I dressed in smart casual not formal. I absolutely hate suits and will not wear them. I cannot imagine going anywhere that demanded people wore suits. They are so constricting.
I suppose a dress and jacket might be ok if it was not hot. Where I live it is far too hot to wear suits of any kind. The less the better.

My father, being the classy guy that he was, wore a suit and tie almost everywhere he went. I swear to God he would go to a Toronto Maple Leaf hockey game wearing a suit. Even family occasions like Christmas in his own home he would wear a shirt and tie. In his later years he started to dress down more with family but still dressed up when he went out for any function.

wow! that sounds nice. I am young now and i like casual clothing rather than formal. I dont like wearing suit at all coz i just feel uncomfortable in it. You have to act formal in formal cloths. And i also think that formal clothing does not suite at me. I am the best in casual clothing and i think if i have to go to see the girl whom i get married to i would go in casual. and i hope she would something like your wife and will like casual clothing rather than a suit. be happy. keep mylotting

Well, you have asked if we like casual or formal clothes. Actually both are clothes but there is a lot of variation in personal choice. Some people like to put on casual clothes most of the time. Even if there is any formal party, they prefer casual clothes. Actually the most important is, with which clothes you are feeling comfortable. If you put on a suit and necktie and feeling like itching all the time then this type of clothing has no value at all.
Personally, I am fond of casual clothes. Whether at home ar at any party, I like to attend there with casual clothes. I just cannot like formal clothes.

When I got married to my second husband, we didn't go all long white gown, tuxedos and a dozen attendants. I wore a very dressy dress in champaigne colour with tuxedo jacket and my husband wore a suit. Our two attendants dressed well for the occasion but others showed up in shorts and golf shirts. That was eleven years ago and I still am a tad offended. I know where my husband comes from they are more casual but they all dressed up very fancy for his brother's wedding a couple of months later.

hi!
this will depend on the occasion that i will be attending too. if i am attending a social event i will dress properly, if it requires formal attire i will follow. on other events that does not require formal attire i just wear slacks and blouse, but on a really casual situation just jeans and tops then casual shoes sometimes flip flops. i am comfortable wearing this i this is what i wear.
but then again this will vary on the occasion.
