What is life without love?

Do we really need love to be able to live a good life until we die?
Do we really need love when all the things we do is work, work, and work for ourselves?
Do we really need love if we always think to be ahead ... being competitive in all the things that we do...?
We can still have a life without love? RIGHT?
We say we care ,,, and that is love ... show concern and that is love ... but we want something in return. Its a rule that in every action there is a reaction ... so whenever we give... certainly we need to receive something ... so is that love?
I guess we can live without love. Don't tell me you love yourself when you are slowly killing yourself by smoking, drinking or too much eating? That is not love for me. We don't need love. We need money ...
Life is fun without love ... there is adventure.
Life is fun without love ... there are a lot of challenges.
Life is exciting without love ... there are lots of competition.

I think every body should be loved by some one,if that that some one does not love them in the same way,it is nice to know you have some body that loves you.

Hi... I am not defending myself or love. I never agree or disagree with you. But in my humble opinion, do you understand what is the meaning of love? Love has lots of meaning. Do you love your parent? Do you love your pet? Do you love what you have?
Love is a feeling that can't be describe. Every now and then, there will be someone loving you without your concern. True love never speak. For instance, your parent, they love you no matter what happen to you. If you are married, your husband/wife & your children will love you.
What life without love? I would say, "without love there is no life!"

There is no life without love. I'm not talking romantic swooning love here. but if you don't love or feel love of some sort you'll wither and die. Love is what every soul craves and needs to live. Money is fleeting. The love of family and friends is what is needed to really live. Not having love is merely survivial and that's not living.

emotions like love are those somethings that distinguish us from other creatures like plants and animals existing in this world... love and passion are prerequisites that add value to life.loving our home and family members adds happiness and a sense of satisfaction to our life. life without love is a lie...

It is not realistic to think you are going to live your entire life without love and it is certainly not anything you can prepare for. Love will come when you least expect it. As far as being without it for the time being, Just try the best you can to make yourself a better person.

Hi, I´m not agree beacause you need love for making good actions, everything you do, you mus do it with love, for me that is the sense of the life, and doing the things woth love our life will be more easy, because all troubles it has, pay bills, crime in the street, love troubles with you couple, world economy critic, but love lead us to the happyness way, that´s with I do, and almost all the time I am happy, hardly ever I´m sad. good luck, and try to live with love.... you will love it.

It is so difficult to discuss something so abstract and intangible. Yes, love can be expressed in many ways, but in truth it is really a concept.
M. Scott Peck, who authored "The Road Less Traveled" said that true love comes from within. We must not look to another human being to feel love. It starts from within. And when you think about it, this is so true.
We must first love ourselves before we can love another. But how do we love ourselves? If we respect our humanity, accept our limitations and celebrate the blessings we have been given, I believe that is LOVE. And once we are comfortable with ourselves and love who and what we are, then we are better able to express our love for others. Not necessarily in a romantic way, but in a very human way.
To answer your original question -- can we live life fully without love? How do we even know that we are living life to the fullest if we did not understand love and what it represents?

To truly live life one must feel the effects of love. One must know what it is like to be loved. Without the love of family and friends and even one's self there is no true satisfaction. What is the value of that special moment if you have no one to share it with? It's just another moment in life and there is nothing special about it.

Hi friend, without love it's really worst to lead life and obviously it's not possible to lead life also. Without love even a small particle also not possible to live. Offcourse that's done by creature it's a fixed one. if we give some thing means defnately we want some thing. Thats the life. This is nothing but love.

Hi friend,I feel that without love we cannot attain anything in life.Without the love and care of our parents we wouldn't have studied and attained the present state in life.After we get our own children we shower our love on them ,They also grow and achieve with love ,support and care from us.Married life also starts with love.Achieving and attaining anything can be out of hardwork and persevearance but basic for everything is love.

My life would be nothing without the love of my family and my son.. i can live without love of someone but without my family and my son?? i dont think i can still live without them i dont know what to do. they are the reason why im still here and everytime i fall my family and my son gives me the reason why i have to live and smile again.

I disagree. I think a life without love is useless. We cannot live without other people loving us, or doing good things to us. I think life on earth is more worthwhile when we share our hearts with the people around us. We are working because we want to earn money. We want to earn for our family. If not, we want to earn for ourselves cause we want to buy the things we need. So we love ourselves. Though sometimes we drink, smoke or eat too much, we just want to fulfill ourselves. It doesn't mean that we don't love ourselves. How can life be fun without love? Are you enjoying when other people hate you? Challenges are worthwhile when shared with the one's you love. You can share your victory with them. Are you happy without people loving you? Are you fully happy being alone? I think a life with love is more fun.

I dont think that we truly live until we are loved. In my case, I fell in love when I was too young to understand what was happening. Then, the guy was killed before I could tell him how I truely felt about him. That was many years ago and I have spent the remaining years of my life searching for the kind of love that I had right in front of me and allowed it to walk away

For every action there's an equal reaction---sometimes the reaction is good, sometimes not. Whether we choose to love or not, there will always be a consequence. We cannot deny the fact that the result of whatever decision we make regarding this question will always be a double-edged sword for us. n.n

I can't imagine the life without love. Now I have no boyfriend , but it is not horrible for me keep on my life. Because I have the love from my family, my friends. I should say if I lose these two kind of life. It does hurt me a lot. Actually, I am not eager to expect a new boyfriend . I believe someone may find me at last, who I call him the Mr right. Now, I just enjoy my happy single time. Work harder, study harder, make myselpf prepared for new challenges.

I can not think what the world will be without love. Love is vrey important to me. My parents' love make me growing healthy. My lover's love make me feeling happy. My friend's love me me feeling the world is so perfect.
