Why are so many people serious?

By that I mean serious all the time! Me I enjoy making people laugh. I'm considered sarcastic and for those people that I'm around we are all pretty much the same. We laugh and crack jokes just because its fun. I was driving around the other day bobbing my head to my music when I noticed people just looking straight ahead not moving. Kinda like robots driving around. Not many people dancing to the beat or anything.
Usually when out in public when looking at other people, I'm usually smiling when I do it. Like If I look at someone and they look back at me I either smile or nod my head as to say whats up. Just so you know I'm not a happy go lucky guy. I just find that some people don't seem to laugh or smile. They can give you dirty looks or even become rude if bumped into. IF you don't know what I mean go grocery shopping.
I don't know, maybe its just me. Look around the next time you are out. Tell me some of the things you see. Life is not easy but laughing sure makes it seem like it at the time.

In my own opinion, people tend to be serious when they do have problems.
Everytime I am serious it's the time that I have problems with my studies ( when I am still studying )and when I have my personal problems. But most of the time, I am smiling. Life is beautiful so lets be happy always. Anyway, problems were made because it always have its solutions. I got your point. Why not smile? Instead of making serious faces. :-)

Yup pretty much. I understand that problems can bring people down and what not but out in public what ever happened to being curtious to others. I guess for the people driving they just might be having a bad day but even just looking around at things. I don't know I guess since not many responces its probably just the normal thing to do.
