I believe there are runners in mylot, and i would like to find out, how often do u run?? ANd do u explore new routes as well??
A few days ago, i decide to try a new route though it had been opened since july this yr.. hehe.. But i decide to explore it this time, due to my trekking experience the previous week, and i was hooked.. hehe
SO, i started running from my home, up a hill, before the whole new route appears in front of me.. As i run, i was also looking out for the nice sceneries around me, for, i'm almost 50-80 feet above the ground.. The feeling is simply great, and as i ran, i din realise it's an upslope till i ran back down.. lol =D All along, i never thought that i'll be able to run alongside the top of those trees, breathing in the really fresh air, on 3 different terrains as the route slowly unfolds itself in front of me..
I really like the experience and now, that route has become my favourite among all others, and i'll always be going back there as well as continuning from where i left behind, as i only completed about 3/4 of the whole route.. haha

Sounds interesting. Where is this route you are talking about?
I do not run much, but I do a fair bit of walking.
And I love to go walk, especially with my wife.
Gives us the opportunity to really spend some quality time together in this busy world of ours.

Yup, u know the bridge that's just opend a couple of months ago.. Linking mount faber, to henderson, to alexandra as well as to kent ridge park??
Henderson side, will be known as Southern ridge (Henderson wave), which is the highest point among the whole route, and the view is really nice and romantic if u can bring your wife there ^_^
As for Alexandra (alexandra arch), it's a steel brigde within the forested area of telok blangah all the way to kent ridge side.. hehe ^_^ It's a fun walk, if u wanna try it out.. So far i do seen alot of couples as well as families there too ^_^

If u were to start of the foot of mount faber to the end of alexandra arch, it will take u about 1-1.5hrs, for a slow walk.. But if u wanna stop to admire the nice sunset or evening scenary, it might take up to 1hr45mins or so.. hehe ^_^
Go explore it, it's fun ^_^ Let me know when u have decided to go, so that i can tell u the way, so that u wun miss out on the alexandra arch as well as the nice view from henderson wave ^_^
