Being poor sucks

I didn't get the paycheck I was expecting to recieve on Friday. I don't know what happened and why I didn't get paid for the 13 hours I put in. I have contacted my district manager but with the Holiday no one is in the office or checking thier emails. Since I get paid $7.80 an hour for training time which is what the 13 hours was for. This has never happened before in the 2 years I have worked for this company. I only work seasonally from late November to Mid-April every year. I hope that they figure it out and get my check to me soon. That was my money to get slip (I do ceramics) and the Christmas present for my daughter (18). This sucks.
Anyone else ever experience this?

I have only experince this once. It was years ago when I worked at a McDonalds in Florida. I ended contacting the main corparation of McDonalds and got the money I was owed for the work that I did. Good luck, I pray you get the money you are owed.

Thanks for the prayers they are always welcomed. It wouldn't have been so bad but I was expecting it and I didn't get it and that sucked. I really needed it too cause of Christmas and everything and needing slip.

I expect it probably got lost in the mail, but just in case it was stolen, you need to let them know you have not yet received your pay.
The closest I ever came to anything like this is when I signed up for an internet job. I did the work according to the instructions and didn't get any pay. I emailed them but never got any response. It turned out to be a scam.

That is such a drag that the money you earned you did not receive. I hope that it works out for you soon. Its bad enough to have hard times any part of the year but it is even worse at Christmas time. I know what you are feeling as we are very strapped for cash ourselves this year. Makes it very hard to get in the spirit of the season.
I hope things work out hun! Hope your holidays turn out well and are very happy!

Yes, it has unfortunately happened to me too. One Friday everyone got their checks but I didn't receive mine. It just so happened that the lady in my department forgot to turn in my time card. I was furious and hurt. Sometimes these things happen, but hopefully things will get cleared up for you on Monday. Good luck and I hope things work out!
