If you call by the name of an old partner?

ohh if that would happen to me, it would mean war... maybe that's the reason he does not want to say names during those times. hahaha so as not to make mistakes like that

Later on when I would have thought about it, my mind would have been definitely disturbed, thinking his mind is still occupied with his ex.

I have done that one time but never had someone call me by another name before. I had just got out of a relationship with another person not too long before meeting a new person. I was so sorry and apologised over and over again.

Well i think if a person is with someone for a while,it sometimes is natural to call someone by the name of a person they have been with before..I know that when i married my husband i accidently called him by my ex husbands name.I wasn't even thinking of my ex husband.I think i did it out of habit,so i don't think it would have bothered me that much,since it was just probably because she/no was use to calling that persons name...

I guess it would all depend on how secure you are. It could be treated as a joke or as a reason to break off. I think I would treat it as a joke and let it go. In times of passion a different part of the brain takes over and it's not always up to date on what has been going on. It often lives in the past.
